I’m honestly not sure what happened to Fat Rosie’s. I know they were bought out, and unfortunately it shows.
I was invited to this restaurant this past Sunday.
Respectfully. Drink beer before you eat this food, otheriwse you will spit everything out, I ordered thru doordash.

After a good experience at the Schaumburg location I made my way to Frankfort which is more local. The street corn is one of my favorites and I love how fresh everything is. The margarita with blueberries is to die for. They were out of the pastor so I did the mahi (flakey and flavorful), chicken (perfectly seasoned), and carne asada (good but my least favorite). The shrimp tacos were phenomenal. Overall a good experience and delicious food.

Not being from the area, we've wanted to try Fat Rosie's several times during previous visits. We finally did today and we were not disappointed. The carne asada tacos were fantastic and the habanero hot sauce recommended by Juan L was amazing...and hot! He even suggested mixing a bit with our salsa, which gave it a great kick. The atmosphere was festive and the service was great as well. We will definitely be back.

Isela served us and she was excellent. I will be returning back here. This was my first time here, all of my sisters came out to celebrate one of our sisters birthday and it was nice. They came over and song happy birthday and gave us shots to take. Come out here.

I recently ordered Mexican food from Fat Rosie’s via UberEats. I purchased one al pastor taco and a steak taco plate. They also gave a bag of fresh chips and salsa! Everything was delish.I just wish they gave more rice and beans. I was finished with both within 4 fork fulls. I did order towards the end of the night. Maybe they were attempting to stretch out before closing.

I couldn’t have been happier with Juan as our server. He was quick to pick up on the hint I left as to the birthday we were celebrating and of course our dessert was served with quite the fanfare! Delicious food, great atmosphere, and a very personal touch from Juan!
