What 909 diners keep saying
verbatim, from Google
“Food was very good. Careful coming in, floor is a little uneven”

“One of the few places in Lakeview/Uptown that still serves menudo thats actually good. Tortillas and horchata taste like straight from Mexico. Only issue it has two doors so not easily accessible but a customer actually helped me with the doors. They forgot my extra tortillas but it was free so I cant complain.”

“This review is all about tacos. Fish tacos w/ green sauce: 2 ⭐️ They lacked flavor, even with the sauce. Pollo: 5 ⭐️ Chicken tacos are fire. Highly recommend Asada: 4 ⭐️ The tacos come with hearty pieces of meat, but again lacking a little flavor.”

“The food is ok the langostinos super good and the green chilaquiles,”

“The tacos were so good and nice portions but the mangonada and Pina coloda I got were icey water basically it felt like I came just for the mangonada and the sea food was mid no seasoning”

“Was in the area looking for a quick Mexican meal and stumbled upon this place. The inside is nothing fancy, featuring checkered tiled floors, some small wood tables, TVs playing soccer games and cumbia music playing in the background - it’s fitting for the environment. The menu has a lot of options but I had my mind set on a steak burrito. I was not ready for just how big this thing is. It was loaded with tons of steak, beans and veggies. It was a great deal for the portion, and a pretty decent burrito. I got a tamarind aguas frescas it too and it was refreshing. Another plus was the free chips and salsa, you don’t see that often anymore. Salsa was good, red one had a bit of heat. I’d come back for an affordable quick mexican meal for sure.”

“Okay food with predatory business practices. charged me a bit more than I should’ve been charged, price I was charged is way diff than the price on the menu and also they couldn’t give me my receipt until my food was served for whatever reason? I got take out by the way. Charge $1.00+ for lime? I’ve never heard of paying a dollar for lime. I’ve been to so many Mexican restaurants and I’ve never paid $22 for two tacos rice and a drink, and If im paying $22 it at least comes with lime. If you’d like to get scammed for some 5/10 food come here! :)”

“I love this Latino restaurant, they have good food and I eat it when I’m in the area, I like the people there good service and great Latino people there, and it’s in my hometown, they have stayed here for so many years, and I wanted to let people know they food is good, I love my Latino people in here and I love Latino food, great restaurant, great people, I love your tacos, French fries, I love you’re great food,”
