El Chilito Bravo
El Chilito Bravo — one of Bensenville's strongest mexican spots. The food tastes like it should, with no compromises. The staff makes it feel personal, and owner-operated. [$$]

“Best tamales in town super moist chicken is so amazing. Five stars.”

“My favorite place to get quesabirra tacos! They are so amazingly good and high quality! Fast and great service.”

“Man this place is awesome on everything their food is to die for. This is my favorite place in Bensenville. The service the employees and the owner very friendly treat you like family . Try it you won’t regret it and you will see what I am talking about. 5 stars rating but to me double that a perfect 10 stars.”

“Everything about this place has been exceptional. The place was clean with parking. Our server was so attentive, friendly, and amazing. The food was delicious. I had the torta asada. The meat was tender and flavorful. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.”

“Amazing! It's a small restaurant that makes you feel at home. The service is great, the food is delicious and the bathrooms are clean and smelled very good. I will definitely be coming back. It was closing time and they were still encouraging us to order and they were very nice about it.”

“Great birria & menudo here the best in town !!! Ordered a big order of birria to go they serve it well with veggies, tortillas, limes , & salsa ! It was delicious! They let me sample some menudo it was the best I’ve had around town. Great food & service!”

“Best. Mexican. Food. In. Bensenville. When I’m missing mom’s cooking or feeling nostalgic this is the place to go. From the food to the service there’s no way you can go wrong paying this local family owned restaurant a visit. Personal favorites include steak burrito and tacos (Al pastor, steak, lengua and best of all tripa (bien dorada)). Whether you live in town or passing by don’t miss out on the experience the food and atmosphere will transport you through!!”

“Good tacos. A bit dry and lacked some flavour but the service and atmosphere of this establishment were great. Chips came with a variety of salsas which was a great plus. Rice and beans were standard. Good experience.”

“Unfortunate, I was looking forward to this place and it just disappointed. They are cheap and cut costs where they can. Horchatas not filled all the way, Tacos have barely any meat. No vayas a este lugar. No hacen las cosas bien.”

“Is really bad "Flautas" chicken has no flavor and big chunks of chicken and the tortillas not even fried well not crispy and they put chunks of cheese on top with little guacamole makes everything so soggy not good at all! The agua fresca of Jamaica is not so fresca is not good at all is sour and taste bad! The horchata was way too sweet! Bad experience and expensive!”
