I decided to try their chicken bowl, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Each bite was complemented by fresh, vibrant ingredients, creating a perfect balance of textures and tastes. The seasoning had just the right amount of kick, making every mouthful exciting without being overwhelming. What I loved most was how fresh and thoughtfully prepared everything felt. “The food was absolutely delicious.”

The food was absolutely delicious! The taste was very fresh, and we did not have to wait long for our food. The store itself is very warm and inviting! All of their sauces were delicious and paired well with the food. The bowl had a good amount of food and was very filling, and the jamaica was just the right flavor. 10/10 experience, and will definitely be coming back!!!

I gave 5 starts for their beef empanadas at this location. They are the best. Ask for all of them at once, since they make you wait for about 10+ minutes. If you like ground beef you will not regret it. It is a unique flavor that include green olives and raisins. I love them! It is a small place but good enough for a quick bite that you will enjoy! Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of my empanadas, I realized after I have eaten them.

If you love burritos then look no further. I have 0 complaints about this restaurant at all. The burritos are both flavorful, and thick, with a delicious tortilla to hold it all together. If you love sauce then try each option and pick your favorite for next time lol. And don’t forget to get a drink as well they have some tasty sweet options for you! One of the best burritos in Chicago!

I ordered a fish taco, a chicken taco, and two al pastor tacos for $17. These were fresh, delicious, came with two creamy sauces, free water, and were brought out quickly. Soft corn tortillas, doubled up for structural integrity. Can't wait to go back.

We've found that many places in Chicago can be pricey, but we were on the lookout for a spot where we could enjoy tacos and burrito bowls in a laid-back atmosphere. That's when we stumbled upon this gem! The music playing here is fantastic, so waiting for my order was anything but boring. The ambiance is incredibly homey, making it a comfortable place to dine. As for the food, the meats are top-notch, and the ingredients in the burrito bowl are fresh and flavorful. Plus, it's an affordable option for a satisfying meal. If you're craving delicious tacos in this neighborhood, definitely give this place a try!

“Quaint taco shop near UIC campus.”

Quaint taco shop near UIC campus. The prices are pretty low for Chicago and the workers were nice. The sauces for the table were a spicy verde, a medium chipotle sauce, and a not-spicy Mayo. A solid 4.5 star place. Burrito - absolutely loaded with filling! Little too much lettuce but tasted very authentic, especially with the verde and chipotle salsas on top. Veggie taco - I was surprised they used onion, bell pepper, mushroom, and corn (usually it’s just mushroom). They were cooked perfectly in a nice oil, though I felt the double corn tortilla wrap was unnecessary. Empanada - great roasted filling on the inside, not very crunchy/crispy on the outside. If fried a bit longer, would’ve been even better.

“Best fish tacos and burritos.”

Best fish tacos and burritos! It's a small dine in but it's nice for a quick bite or to get it to go! It can be a bit of a wait sometimes because they are super busy with their to-go orders most of the time. The food is consistently good and fresh! Empanadas fresh, right out of the fryer. Their street corn is also yum (in the cup and on the cob)! They've got fresh juices and horchata as well.

I just found this place on my way to work in Chicago and this might be the best Taco spot in the area, I got two steak tacos and a fish taco with medium drink, the meat was tender and well seasoned and the fish was crispy and golden, they also have 3 of the most delicious sauces I think I've ever had on a taco, chipotle, spicy jalapeno and sweet, I wish I could actually buy it it's so good, the place was clean and the food was ready in about 10 minutes, they also have empanadas and burritos, if you're in the area, check this place out
