Place its fabulous. We went to get to try this place and we got surprised. Place its not that big, and decor its not the best, but food its great. I ordered CARNE A LA TAMPIQUN̈A, and it was sooooo... good. Steak was tender, juicy, and tasteful, and the enchilada of MOLE was the best. Honestly this is the best mole I have ever tried in Chicago burbs. It was accompanied by a CHILE TOREADO, and onions. Rice was awesome, and beans did not disappointed. She ordered PULPO AL PASTOR, and octopus was cocked perfectly but missed pastor taste as advertised but it was good. Chips and salsa were great, the salsa was cold, but tasty and slowly spiced. MARGARITAS FLIGHT was great, but THE MILLION DOLLAR MARGARITA was not not the best..... toooo much salt on it. BTW the birthday cake was FREE!!! Service was the best around. Definitely coming back soon.

Date nite is always great with restaurants with great ambience, valet service and great food. Wife loves the margarita flight. I’m definitely recommending this restaurant for there delicious salmon & shrimp. A++++

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here after our rehearsal at the Chicago Marriott across the street. We communicated often with the lovely manager, Vanesa, about what we would like the menu to look like and how we wanted the drinks and leftovers handled. We were able to reserve the entire outdoor space as we had about 35-40 people attending. Not only did they deliver on the delicious food and drinks, but all the side requests we had as hosts they listened! The servers were all attentive and friendly, I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a refill and they laughed with our group and our corny jokes. We are so happy with our choice and can’t wait to get back here for some more food. Thank you Vanesa and team!

“Guacamole 🥑 was great.”

Guacamole 🥑 was great. Had a house margarita with sugar that did not disappoint. Three steak 🥩 tacos 🌮 that had an excellent char gilled taste to them. Would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for good Mexican food.

“What a cool vibe.”

What a cool vibe! Outstanding food, great service, and nice decor. This place has it all. This is the first time we had guacamole with mango and it shocked me how good this tasted. The tacos were made perfectly with steamed corn tortillas. The mole poblano was incredible. Mole sauce had a light spice but not overpowering. Grilled chicken with mole and rice is the perfect meal for this place. The drink menu is impressive. We loved the decor, lighting, and bar display. Located in the Burr Ridge village center, you can also shop and walk around before or after you eat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return.

Enjoyed my food from this restaurant! I ordered the shrimp tacos. They give you 3 tacos with a side of refried beans and rice. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was also seasoned extremely well. Of the different Mexican restaurants I've gone too, I haven't had shrimp tacos THAT well seasoned. The seasoning had a slight heat to it too but not anything too intense or at the forefront of the flavor profile. There was also a decent amount of shrimp per taco. While I ordered take out, the overall atmosphere seemed really pleasant and I can imagine that visiting this place with friends or a significant other would be really nice. I didn't order too much and I came in during a slower day for the restaurant but the wait time for my food wasn't long. There's a bar in the middle of the restaurant and unfortunately I didn't order a drink but I would totally come back to this place with that in mind. Staff were super sweet and it felt like the place running like a well oiled machine. But overall I'd definitely come back if I was visiting the area and would recommend this restaurant to others!!

Wow Wow Wow! The Birthday month celebration continues as friends & I had dinner at this Burr Ridge establishment. From the service which was beyond 5 stars to the appetizers ( guacamole and tortilla soup) to the margarita flights and dinner-all 5 stars, this is a must stop for dinner if you're looking for very authentic Mexican food. The portions are plenty, the alcohol is top shelf and the service- they're very attentive with plenty of servers that you constantly see or have someone readily available, never having to wait to find someone. 2 of us had the steak fajitas and we both agreed that we've never had jucier tender, such flavorful steak before and the hot iron skillet was very full, colorful with the red,green,yellow peppers & Zucchini strips with onions and tomatoes.. definately a must order. & 1 in our party had the fish tacos served on the flour tortillas and it was very very good, again, beyond 5 stars. The owner, John, is very active & present in the operation of his restaurant and visits every table along with his wife who we saw working the dining area as well which is a huge plus because not only do they tend to their business to be sure you are receieving excellent service but the employees you can see, all are very knowledgeable in the items on the menu and look very happy working there to give you excellent service. Our server, Diego, did an outstanding job with serving us, from his recommendations to even making us our margarita flights. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant gets very full. There's a large bar that had stools wrapped around it with a fully stocked bar and excellent drink menu. - again all beyond 5 stars. What a great stop to make my birthday celebration a huge success topped off with a churro bites platter with powdered sugar , drizzled with chocolate syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream and shaved chocolate sprinkled on top , served with a huge sparkler for a candle. As for the pricing, you get a whole lot of food on your plate[s] for your money! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kudos to the owner, for his excellent food & service, can't wait to go back again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you happen to live in the city, the owner has a 2nd location of the same restaurant located in the South Loop under the name La Cantina Grill on South Michigan Ave. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had ordered some Mexican food for group lunch - for pickup. Food was good with nice portions and accessories. Folks at the place helped with bringing the food trays to the car (parked a couple of storefronts away - since there is a pedestrian in front of the store and not a road). The store itself is very nicely appointed, with a large bar and TV. There is lots of street parking behind the mall.

First time here this evening, and I really enjoyed the food, drinks, the atmosphere, and the customer service. Our waitress was great. Wish I remembered her name. That's how strong the drinks are. Lol. I ordered the Don Goya..it came with what you see on my plate and two huge tostadas. Everything was made with love. Definitely will be going back. Burr Ridge Center is such a nice and cozy area.

Lipps, Inc. Sang "take me to funkytown", however we made a detour to one of our favorite Taco Towns Burr Ridge, Illinois and it did not disappoint. Daniel at the bar made some exquisite margaritas and they definitely earned a 5 🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹out of rating... Now this food was nothing short of spectacular. The flakiness of the both grilled and beer battered Mahi Mahi tacos was sheer perfection... Everything cane to the table in complete excellence.. The food earned a strong 5 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 out 5. “This place was really good.”

This place was really good. The chips and salsa started us off right. We ordered chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, steak tacos and kids chimichangas. Everything was delicious. The mango margarita was also fantastic. We'll be back as the menu had lots of other things to try. The staff was super helpful and filled with recommendations about the menu. Combined with a nice atmosphere, this place is a new go-to restaurant for us.
