“They were outstanding: perfectly crisp on the outside, incredibly soft inside, and complemented beautifully by a good drizzle of rich, well-balanced tahini”
“The food was utterly amazing.”
The food was utterly amazing! Only thing better than the food was the fantastic service! It feels like home here. Grab a drink, chit chat with friends and the amazing people here at Zabiha Halal aka Nineveh Kebob Express! One suggestion: try the mouth watering falafels 🤤

“An Absolute Hidden Gem on Devon.”
An Absolute Hidden Gem on Devon! I just had an amazing meal at Nineveh Kabab Inn on Devon. It’s a small, easy-to-miss spot between Ted’s grocery and Levinson’s bakery, but absolutely worth finding. The owner/chef, Geroge, was incredibly kind. While my wife and I were deciding what to order, he offered us a few falafels, and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had (and I don’t even like falafel). I got the beef shawarma sandwich with tahini, and we split a Nineveh salad and added an order of falafel. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. While we waited, the chef also gave us some Turkish pastries, which were a nice surprise. We left completely full and happy. Definitely going back. The falafels are to die for.

“This place should definitely be more popular.”
This place should definitely be more popular! The service is exceptional as they go above and beyond to ensure that you’re having a good experience. The food was very well seasoned. Beef kabob was moist and flavorful, chicken shawarma was not dry, and the rice/salad was a great pairing. Tahini sauce was phenomenal and definitely the extra boost that elevated the dishes to the next level. If you want a solid middle eastern dining experience, this place can’t go wrong.

“I got take-out and the food was solid while being affordable.”
I got take-out and the food was solid while being affordable. The portion size of the mezzes were more generous than what I expected. The hummus was smooth and pleasantly tart, though a bit too chickpea-forward for my taste. The baba ganoush was chunky, garlicky, and deliciously smoky but could have used more salt and lemon. It would have been great if these dips came with pita. The lentil soup was decent but also needed more salt and lemon. The shawarma wrap was packed with flavorful meat cooked just right with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The owner was kind enough to offer us his freshly made falafels and we were so glad we got to try them. They were outstanding: perfectly crisp on the outside, incredibly soft inside, and complemented beautifully by a good drizzle of rich, well-balanced tahini.

The owner is so kind and hospitable. He is known and loved by everyone that works at our organization. I love the chicken shawarma, but the falafel is the best I’ve had anywhere.
