Cira — reliable mediterranean in West Loop that keeps people coming back. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. There's real intention behind the cocktail list. "The shakshuka was especially well-seasoned, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients" — Bruna Dellatorre

“The bits of mint were the best and paired with the chicken were uniquely delicious”
My wife and I had a very disappointing experience at Cira in the lobby of the Hoxton.

“I really enjoyed my experience and definitely recommend.”
I really enjoyed my experience and definitely recommend. The Brunch Mezze platter was the star of the show. It was fresh and flavorful and ideal for sharing. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was fun but still calm.

A beautiful restaurant right adjacent to the hotel lobby? I didn't expect to have such a wonderful experience in this setting. Cira is tastefully decorated, cozy and chic, with incredible Mediterranean food. I loved every meal and drink at Cira! The staff were great. The bartender was amazing with helping me out with food choices and drinks. Overall I'll definitely be back as I loved our stay at the Hoxton. This place in Chicago feels both stylish and welcoming. The options are surprisingly flavorful and creative, each dish packed with fresh ingredients and bold spices. Perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend. Everything is at your fingertips.

The restaurant has a very nice and spacious atmosphere, I loved the cozy sofas and chairs, which made it feel both comfortable and inviting. Service was polite and attentive. We tried the mortadella sandwich with crispy potatoes and the shakshuka. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The shakshuka was especially well-seasoned, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The yogurt parfait was absolutely silky and delicious, the cardamom granola and fresh fruit were the perfect combination. Drinks were also excellent, the cappuccino and matcha latte were smooth and well-prepared. My dish took a little longer to arrive, but the flavor more than made up for the delay. Overall, a wonderful spot for both food and ambiance. Definitely worth visiting!

Came back with my dad and sister there was no DJ that day during the week but we still had a nice breakfast! I showed them the roof too.

“Amazing ambiance, friendly waiters.”
Amazing ambiance, friendly waiters. I’d come here again JUST for this pistachio ravioli. All of us ordered this dish. Saffron orange butter, garlic breadcrumbs, and nutty pistachio, what’s not to love? The flavors were so balanced — I was worried the saffron or orange would be too strong or that I wouldn’t be able to taste the pistachio. It’s a really creative fusion dish and it worked. Perfect portions, singing flavors, and definitely in the top 3-5 raviolis I’ve ever had. Don’t miss this if you come here!! The ambiance is great for a dinner date or a girl’s night! Definitely recommend coming here at least once. (P.S: my photo sucks because I inhaled the ravioli, haha)

“Lovely little tucked away gem, I had never heard of it until today.”
Lovely little tucked away gem, I had never heard of it until today. The salmon with hashbrown was absolutely stellar, with excellent supporting flavors from the cucumber and horseradish garnish, with fresh dill and chives. It truly shines most when you pair a morsel from every element on the plate together. The mushroom and asparagus frittata was very light and welcoming, with a gentle yet dominant flavor of sheep's milk feta wrapping around it in a balanced hug. The mint and cilantro garnish was a bit oversized and the greens weren't as fresh as everything else was immaculately so, however it didn't detract from the heavenly dish much. The potatoes were crisp and well salted, much to my joy. Absolutely a fantastic place to stop by for breakfast or brunch. Their espresso and latte were equally pleasant as the experience.

I agree with current rating of 4.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ The starters we started with were: - goat cheese stuffed dates: 8.5/10 - crispy falafel: 7/10 (on the dry side) - lamb kofta: 7.5/10 - seared octopus: 4/10 (was really rubbery and lacked flavor) - ahi tuna 🐟 tartare: 10/10 (yummy) We then moved on to: - Green salad 🥗: 9/10 (very good!) - Caesar salad 🥗: 5/10 (very very bitter) Dips: - pita: 10/10 (DELICIOUS, warm, and soft) - Cira hummus: 10/10 (soooo yummy, was actually surprised) - Muhammara: 10/10 (on the sweet side) - Chips and Tzatziki Ranch dip with trout roe: 8/10 Pastas shared: - pistachio ravioli: 10/10 (very yummy) - gnocchetti: 10/10 (with a beef ragu, flavored very well, yum 😋) - mushroom 🍄 cappellacci: 8/10 (very light dish but flavorful, if not hungry, would recommend) We did do dessert. We shared their Pride month dish which was vanilla ice cream 🍨 with cake 🎂 mixed in it, covered in whipped cream and rainbow 🌈 sprinkles (5/10, not much flavor). We also shared their berry 🫐🍓 upside down cake with strawberry 🍓 ice cream 🍦. Strawberry 🍓 ice cream was 10/10, the berry upside down cake was 6/10 -- very dense and had a strange after taste. My mocktail was tasty (and purple 🟣), I don't remember what it was though. The service was sub-par. Our waitress took a while to come over and I had to flag her down to ask who was even our waitress. Then she took 30 min to come back and take our dessert order. Beware, they have the 3.5 percent addition Chicago charge on there that you can ask them to remove (don't get city scammed!). Overall, very pleased with the dips and pastas, and some of the starters. And EASILY a place to share dishes. I would go again!

A beautiful restaurant right adjacent to the hotel lobby? I didn't expect to have such a wonderful lunch experience in this setting. Cira is tastefully decorated, cozy and chic, with incredible Mediterranean food. On this visit we had the goat cheese stuffed dates, garlic fries, pistachio ravioli and my colleague had the lamb kofta. Everything was outstanding. The pistachio ravioli was light, citrusy and a perfect spring lunch entree. The goat cheese dates were perfect, served in a red pepper sauce. I look forward to returning to try their other menus. This made for a perfect business lunch.

“I love coming here.”
I love coming here. The food is great. The decor and ambiance is on point. It's definitely delivers as a boutique hotel restaurant. I love coming during the weekday to come read a book, set up my laptop and work. It has huge windows with lots of natural sunlight to come in. I also love coming here at night to have a few drinks and relax.
