“The wine list has been named one of the best in America and you don't have to spend enormously to drink something really good off it. The guests receive a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, a small touch that sets a generous tone for the rest of the evening. The seafood tower is the opening move most tables make, and it's worth building the meal around, cold shellfish and crudo arranged in a tiered presentation that makes the whole thing look as good as it tastes. The wood-fired bone-in ribeye is the main event, cooked over live fire with a crust that has real char and a deeply savory interior that earns the price. The IDGAF tasting option is the house format where you let the kitchen decide, a parade of their best dishes that night, and it has its own devoted following for good reason. The wagyu beef carpaccio with king crab and truffle is the composed appetizer worth ordering if you want something a little lighter to start, delicate and properly rich with the truffle doing its quiet work. The lobster mac and cheese is the comfort side that gets recommended over the regular by the servers, who are not wrong. For dessert the coconut cream pie is the one to end on, cold and clean and just sweet enough.”

“Maple & Ash takes the classic steakhouse formula and pushes it into something louder, glossier, and more theatrical, the kind of restaurant built for celebrations and special occasions rather than a quiet weeknight dinner. The Gold Coast location has a sleek, modern interior with an open kitchen and a real buzz to the room, music playing, servers moving with energy, the whole place feeling more like an event than a typical meal out. Everything here is meant for sharing, and we leaned into that fully. The wood-fired steaks are the centerpiece, and we went with a bone-in ribeye that came out with a deep char on the outside and a perfectly cooked interior, sliced and presented in a way that made it feel like a small spectacle on its own. We also had a seafood tower to start, oysters, shrimp, and crab piled high on ice, fresh and well-presented, a good way to ease into such a heavy meal. The shepherd's pie surprised us, rich and comforting, not something you'd expect from a steakhouse menu but it ended up being a quiet favorite at the table. Sides came family-style, and the mac and cheese in particular disappeared fast, creamy with a good crust on top. Cocktails were handcrafted and well balanced, the kind of drinks that feel worth the price even before the food arrives. It's expensive, unapologetically so, and the atmosphere leans into the spectacle of fine dining rather than subtlety, but for a special night out it delivers exactly that experience.”

“The ambience is great, lively busy dark and intimate. Pricey. Both the brunch and dinner are delicious! I really like the truffle omellete for brunch. I love the clams. Mashed potatoes or au gratin are both delicious. The wagyu carpaccio is amazing!!! The patio sushi is a nice, more causal menu that is also good.”

“We had the pleasure of being served by Javie, he was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, he made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. His attention to detail, menu knowledge, and recommendations were spot on. He checked in on us the perfect amount and made our whole dining experience feel elevated and special. If you go to Maple & Ash, definitely ask for Javie!! you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for such great service! You’re the reason we keep coming back for special occasions or even a last minute dinner reservation! ❤️”

“So, the food and service was amazing. They do a little "rushy rushy"....the food was absolutely amazing. John was our server and he was over the top knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Idk who the girl in the bathroom was but she blew my mind with a fancy paper towel and she is now my favorite person on earth.”

“It was my first time here and everything was great. We made reservations and were seated timely. The food was great. I didn't care for the mashed potatoes, but it was okay. I would go back.”

“AMAZING!!!!! The atmosphere was sultry and personal. The food was 10/10, had the lobster risotto, hand cut fries, roasted mushrooms, dry aged meatballs, red velvet cake and the Eisenhower steak. Everything was delicious and so well done. The service was even better. Our waiter (shoutout Jorge!!!) was patient and attentive. He got us more candles cause he noticed that we needed more light to see, like so attentive and friendly. Just a great place!!”

“Everything was absolutely five stars! Kasey was our server, and she did phenomenal with her suggestions and certainly impress us with the way she listened to what we wanted or needed. She made our birthdays fantastic by making up a menu with our names on it because it's our birthday week. My boyfriend had the best steak of his life and I had a fantastic Caesar salad. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the candelabras on the tables, and the whole feel of the place. It's very intimate and welcoming at the same time and it's hard to find the two together. I wish we were not just visiting because we would certainly make this our top spot for steak and fun!”
