“The most distinctive meal (dinner at 6:00) I have had in Chicago in my almost 80 years. We had baby kale salad; roasted corn gazpacho; short rib (melt-in-your mouth); and an ice cream selection. Every serving was uniquely tasty and beautifully presented. Michael Kelly ilprovided superb, knowledgeable, and affable service (sporting his 25 year pin and beautiful rose pin in honor of his mother). We will ask for Michael the next time we visit and dine. The kitchen is open and the many spaces abundant and comfortable. The views of the Water Tower are marvelous.”
“We had breakfast several days at NoMI in the Park Hyatt Chicago, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant had a calm, relaxing atmosphere and was not too busy for breakfast, which made it feel even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place to start the day in Chicago. The service was great, and our servers seemed genuinely happy to help. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really fresh, and everything looked beautiful. The pancakes with brûléed bananas were soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The avocado toast was full of flavor. The Belgian waffle was crisp on the outside, soft inside, and great with syrup, cream, and berries. The acai bowl was refreshing, creamy, and nicely topped with fruit, coconut, and chia seeds. The fresh fruit plate was simple but very fresh and juicy. Overall, NoMI is a great breakfast spot if you want a peaceful and high-quality meal. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all made the experience feel special without being too formal. I would definitely recommend it for anyone staying at the Park Hyatt or visiting Chicago and looking for a relaxing breakfast to start the day right.”

The sushi was delicious and plated beautifully, and we both so enjoyed our cocktails and after-dinner sorbet. “I had such a wonderful experience at NoMI. The food was much better than I expected, and you can really tell that a lot of thought and care went into each dish. I ordered the barramundi, and it was beautifully prepared. The fish was cooked perfectly, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the accompaniments. I always feel that the side components of a dish show the true level of the kitchen, and everything on the plate felt intentional, balanced, and well executed. The stone fruit mille feuille was also exceptional. The pastry was perfectly crisp and delicate, and the crème brûlée element on top had such a beautiful caramelized aroma. It was one of those desserts where you can immediately tell that the pastry team truly cares about structure, flavor, and detail. The service was also lovely. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. Overall, NoMI really exceeded my expectations. It is not just a beautiful hotel restaurant, but a place with genuinely excellent food and thoughtful execution. I will definitely be coming back for lunch and future visits.”

“If you're looking for a place with beautiful drinks, amazing service, and one of the best skyline photo spots in Chicago, NoMI is it. The bartender was incredible and the cocktails were stunning. The rooftop is gorgeous with fire pits and perfect views of downtown Chicago. They even had a jumbo star frame where you could take photos with the skyline behind you — such a cool experience. For Valentine’s Day they also had a giant heart display which made the whole space feel even more special. I didn’t try the food this time but I definitely plan to next visit. If you want great vibes, amazing drinks, and the perfect Chicago photo backdrop, this place is absolutely worth it.”
