“This is the perfect neighborhood place. Always packed with folks who know a good thing when they have it. French brasserie menu is old school in the best possible way. Servers are professional and friendly. Food is always spot on.”

“Pretty small space but lively and warm. The escargot was excellent and the sauce goes well with the bread. The steak was a bit dry to me but my friend liked them. The trout in puff pastry was excellent, definitely the highlight for me.”

“Our first stop on our Chicago trip. This place was highly Recommend by one of our friend and i must say it didnt dissapoint. We had the Best Beet salad here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My partner got the steak n fries and the pepper sauce was the best. I had trout, which was good aswell. N the apple tart dessert was out of this world. Will come back for sure.”

“Came here with colleagues since they have good ratings across many platform. I ordered beet salad and escargot as appetizers. Both are good, the salad is very refreshing, all the ingredients blend perfectly. For the main course, I had trout en route and my colleagues had French onion soup and French dip. All are very satisfying. Perfected by the maple creme brulee and apple tart. Definitely recommended, but better make a reservation beforehand. The servers are very attentive and warm.”

“Great food and a fantastic, cozy atmosphere! Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, really liked it.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The whole place felt super authentic, like a little piece of France. Everything we ordered was amazing - steak, fries, escargot, even the homemade bread was so good. And the trout was just the cherry on top!! Such an incredible combination of flavors, so delicate and perfectly done.”

“classically french alcove, absolutely mouth watering french onion soup and tartare. drinks are excellent, please plan a time to visit!”

“Incredible lunch, service was curt but efficient but every course wowed me. The ambiance is fantastic and intimate. I will be back.”

“some of the best french food i’ve had! everything was perfect”

“Authentic French food in a close knit environment. Steak frites were top notch”

“I don’t think I’ll ever get over how delicious everything was. This restaurant is so little and cute like being in your French grandmas house. It’s sooo homey and the entire staff is so kind. I will absolutely be coming back again and again. 10/10 experience!”

“I don’t want to sound dramatic here…. But I would die for this place. My obsession for Le Bouchon is unmatched. The way this establishment has mastered and perfected French cuisine is remarkable. The place is very small but oh so mighty. Very well preserved and styled! Dishes I can’t go without having are escargots, frog legs and for entrees it definitely depends what they have available; oxtail, whole duck, lamb neck and the trout. Sometimes I do go a different route like last week for entrees I had the steaks and frites with the halibut which were both insane! Flavors and techniques here are impeccable. If someone I know loves food and have not dined here I make sure they visit immediately because this is a restaurant that everyone has to visit at least once.”
