I was really disappointed with the tteokbokki.
I got there right when they opened so I could place a quick breakfast order to go.
Disappointing Experience at the Front Desk I went to Rice and Bread at 3435 N Sheffield Ave to pick up an Uber Eats order, and unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant.

Rice N Bread is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Jacop is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing Galbi burger. Must come back. 10/10. I liked the pictures on the walls.

Service was good and the food was amazing. It’s hard to find good kimchi jjigae and the one here was great! It was a tad salty toward the end but really hit the spot. The fried chicken was delicious and crispy but tender inside.

A cozy and welcoming spot for quick Korean food with super friendly service. The menu offers both classic Korean dishes and American breakfast staples. I only tried the Korean entrées during my visits and found them very solid - tteokbokki and squid bibimbap bring a delicious spicy kick, the bulgogi is rich and well-seasoned, and the DonGalbi features incredibly tender, flavorful pork ribs. A lovely neighborhood go-to for a hearty and satisfying Korean meal.
