“Wow amazing halal Chinese restaurant. Service was super quick and food was delicious. Really loved the beef lo mein noodles a slightly chewy crunch and the beef melts in your mouth, the flavor is this dish is impeccable. I liked the kung poa chicken, with its crispiness and flavor and good presentation. Next the barbecue chicken on stick, the chicken melts of the stick. The potstickers and crab rangoons were pretty standard but decent. Restaurant was clean and had a bathroom. Overall delicious food with fast service.”

“The portion size, the price and food quality were all AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”

“Came here for the first time last night and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Everyone we ordered was very good, however it was somewhat cold. The service was pretty bad but that’s because they were extremely busy. I would definitely come back here for the food! Awesome halal Chinese options!”

“Everything was delicious. Halal cuisine. Very polite staff. We will be back again👍🏼👍🏼”

“quentin and team is AMAZING. they are so educated on their menu and so helpful. they are very patient with customers and there is a reason the restaurant is packed every night. Amazing flavors, blew us out the water. we got the kungpao chicken orange chicken lo mein and dumplings. will definitely be back soon. amazing”

“A great hala Chinese restaurant option in Naperville, food was fresh and delicious. For appetizer we ordered crab rangoon, BBQ chicken stick, chicken wings and for main course we ordered Signature Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Sesame Chicken with Shrimp fried rice as a substitute and regular Chicken fried rice. Everything came out great. Service was also good. Food was fresh. Their coconut latte is also something you want to try. Definitely worth trying again. I would give a A+”

“I am alone for the holidays and I wanted to start a new tradition for myself. So I went here. My first time trying J's Kitchen did not disappoint. The meal was DELICIOUS and came in massive portions. The service, well that's a different story. You will see my 3 stars for service. That is likely generous. But it is well deserved. I would say by default the service warrants only 1 star. But the waitress? She is also the hostess. And the busser. She is doing 3 jobs with little to no support. J's Kitchen is not lacking in service because the service staff is on their phone or otherwise could care less. It is lacking because 1 person is set on a monumental task that dooms her. She is drowning in the demands, ill trained to address them, and otherwise unsupported. I felt an urge to assist her, not just with my lonely table but with all of the tables. Many other tables were full of life. I don't hold it against them that they did not do their part to make her life easier. But they should have. The tables of every other patron were left a mess that required many minutes to clear and clean. I guarantee it only took her 1 minute to clear and clean mine. Life as we experience it necessitates context. It is a holiday for many Americans. We let our world grind to a bit of a halt. And still we expect others to serve us. Maybe, just maybe: we ought to serve them. J's Kitchen gets 5 stars. Not because it is perfect. But because it is among the most human place I've experienced in my 3 years down here.”

“I legit loved this place. It’s hard to find Halal Chinese food in Chicago that’s not indo Chinese. The Sichun noodle soup was the best and it was so hearty and filling. It was so authentic and felt like I took a flight to China myself. Would def come here again if it was closer to where I live.”

“The Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup was amazing! Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area.”

“Well this was my business stop 1st time and I was blown away! The beef noodle soup was just perfect and the flavors is just is awesome, noodles was cook right and the beef tendon is so perfectly cool and it melts in your mouth! The spring roll is just traditional perfect! They actually saute the stuffing and the flavor is just full of taste and usually typically Chinese restaurant they all use the prepackage but not here! Over all I love it and the service was ok but they only had one American waiter and he speaks Chinese but he's the most polite person and the owner should take notes and treat him right. I could of complain but I understand so I just felt bad for the poor guy running like a house and that way I'll going a 5 stars. Over all this place would not be missed and if I was local they will definitely be my go too!”
