I unexpected had a couple of hours to kill in the Avondale neighborhood and stumbled upon this place around lunch time and decided to get some takeout to bring to the nearby park. The guy at the counter was super friendly! The menu is pretty big and I will certainly return to try more. I got the sushi lunch special which included two full rolls and a generous serving of miso soup. Not many sushi places spend a lot of effort on their vegan/vegetarian rolls so I was super delighted with the garden maki roll which had a delicious medley of roots, veggies and avocado. Service was quick and friendly. If it wasn't such a nice day out, I would have sat comfortably at the counter and enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend!

I live nearby and didn't think too much about it when we walked in on a whim but I am definitely coming back! The service was very attentive, I felt like a little kid with the surprise of whipped cream and sprinkles on the Thai Tea and then getting cute drawings in sauce with the sushi. New favorite local spot for sure!

Five stars for fantastic service! The gentleman who took our order had a big smile and helped me pick out a tasty dish from their expansive menu! The serving plate for the Gyoza is a boat and I love that! The Udon Noodle Soup was good on a cold, rainy night it helped perk me up and give me energy. They helped clear away the empty dishes quickly. The decor is also great and fun! Easy to park on the side street!

“The best sushi I have ever had.”

The best sushi I have ever had. Servers were so sweet and attentive, place was super clean and relaxing. Absolute bang for your buck. We got two plates of sushi rolls, a plate of teriyaki chicken (that came with rice and miso soup), and crab rangoon all for only $43, and it was DELICIOUS! The food came out much quicker than expected, and they also drew super cute pictures with umami sauce next to the sushi rolls :) everything about this experience was perfect

Great local place for sushi. Really great presentation of dishes. Menu has traditional sushi and really great chef specials. Great tasting, very reasonable prices. Location is easy to access, and there is a parking lot just off Belmont with free parking. What we really. Like is the seating is comfortable and its not loud! You can have a conversation without shouting over music. Service was good, we ordered and received meals quickly. Highly recommended local sushi restaurant.

Nice corner spot with friendly staff. There are very few places where you can get both Japanese items and Thai items with great flavors. This is a perfect place to get takeout for Friday movie night.

Best sushi spot in Avondale. The fish is always fresh and the portion size for the price is amazing. They are so friendly, service is fast, and they regularly have deals on appetizers. Everything I've had there is excellent! They have a few parking spots in the back which makes dining in easy.
