“I always enjoy this place so much. They have the best cakes and desserts. The atmosphere is so fun and the staff is wonderful. I’ve had some nice custom things done for special occasions and everyone is very helpful always.”

“This place is magnificent if you have a sweet tooth! The staff were so kind and helpful, and they let me and my mom try some samples of their house made gelato, which was of course, extravagant. We ordered the transgender cake, pistachio gelato, and a mango creamy cupcake. I also ordered a Cardamom latte with salted caramel cold foam to go; i’m confident that this was the sweetest strong coffee i’ve ever gotten. In a stellar way obviously! The cake was extremely rich with flavor, as the frosting was impeccable and buttery. I could say the same about the mango creamy cupcake as well, abounding with flavors. This bakery right here made me wish i lived in Chicago🙂.”

“I walked in with raging sweet tooth. I left filled to the brim with delights. My journey started with "gut feelings" which led me to the most unsatisfying lunch I've had in sometime. I jump on AI to drum up spots and Jennivee's was on the list. A couple minutes later I was walking through the door. To start with its charming decore, clean vibrant appearance, and fragrant fresh baked goods leap at you with a pleasant familiarity. Add to that the most pleasant attendant Devon was there to walk me through the options. For instance the cakes are very light because they are Chiffon, and the cupcakes are a bit more crumb forward because it's butter cake. I chose the tres leches with is so delicate, I'm surprised it didn't float off the fork. I also got a chai latte that had the right amount of spice to it. This place can correct any bad navigation. I will be back.”

“Took a stroll down Halstead in Chicago and found Jennivee's Bakery & Cafe. Ordered just a simple Cappuccino and Almond Croissant. I’ve found that there are cafes who know how to make a cappuccino and those that do not: Jennivee's knows how to make them. But that wasn’t the best part - this Almond Croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful and baked to perfection. What a nice late morning find! I took a couple of bites before I realized I hadn’t taken a picture yet!”
