“Our second time and still loved it. Panang curry was my favorite, following by fantastic masaman curry and very good red curry. Sushi is top notch and their crab rations is one reason my family wanted to come back. They even accommodated my request for sweeter and spicier red curry. Highly recommend it. Year later we got also green curry which was tasty.”

“This place was a nice little gem for sushi and Thai food in Forest Park. My sister and I ordered the chicken pad Thai (which was really good) and chicken pad see eiw. Not all Thai restaurants will customize the noodles for their pad see eiw, which is OK because they usually come out fine, but I personally like them a little crispy. The cooks at restaurants that do customize explained to me that all they need to do is pan-fry the noodles a little longer before serving them. White Crane is one that does not customize and, unfortunately, the noodles came out a little too overcooked, some almost mushy - hence the four stars. However, the Tigger maki was AMAZING! There's something about bonito flakes that puts the taste of sushi up another level. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!”

“Great place with delicious food and y very good service.”

“White Crane is truly a hidden gem! Whether you’re craving perfectly seasoned fried rice or mouthwatering noodles, this spot is always the best choice. The dishes in my photos are my go-tos: the beef teriyaki fried rice and the chicken pad see ew — both fantastic with absolutely no notes. The restaurant has a clean, cozy atmosphere, fresh flavors in every bite, and genuinely friendly service. Highly recommend — 10/10!”

“Came to White Crane when the opened at 11 AM for lunch. The service is excellent. Our server was friendly and the food came out very quickly. Ordered Spicy Tuna Maki, Avocado Curry (pictured), Panang Curry and Pad Kee Mao. Everything was absolutely incredible. The curry is a big enough serving that we took half of each home. With drinks, Plum Saki (super yummy) and 2 beers, the meal was about $100. Oh! And we were lucky enough to be treated to an order of egg rolls which were delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend”

“The food here is extremely good, the service is solid since there was only one person running the shop almost with customer service.. I would definetly come back here again and try different foods and the price is pretty good. Support your local businesses.”

“We got the rainbow roll, Spicy tuna, and Alaskan. All delicious! And the broccoli ginger stir fry!”

“Had the beef fried rice and it was AMAZING! Our waiter was an older lady and she was amazing, paitent and understanding! Someone in our party ordered a dish and was not fully satisfied. The food was good but just a bit too flavorful. We attempted to just order a different side for them our waiter insisted that it was no issue to have the dish remade or take off. This was very kind and considerate. She also helped them choose a new dish that they ended up loving. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good Thai/Chinese spot.”

“We go to the Naperville location and we Love this place. They offer choices that are not usually on every other Thai restaurant menu including Khao Soi, Khao Mun Gai, and Khao Moo Dang as well as Thai sausage. These remind me of the Northern style Thai dishes that I love when I go there. The sushi is good too although I like ordering the Thai food more when I go. A great place to try different kinds of Thai food.”

“Passed by White Crane Creative Thai and Sushi many times and added to my save list. They opened to not much fan fare but only a promise of authentic Thai cuisine. This family operated restaurant did not disappoint. Met with a smile and a Sawasdee! Glad to hear the cooks speaking Thai and the staff very friendly. The space is a inviting, rustic and feels like a bustling food stall. Menu online is straight forward. Fresh ingredients means when something is out, it's unavailable. Tonight was no exception. We did settle on the Phad Thai, Mussaman Curry and Sweet Potato Maki, all vegetarian with plenty of vegetables. Tofu added as a protein and all so tasty. The Curry tasted like it was simmering for hours, sweet, spicy and filling. Sushi rice was a tad sticky but avocado and sweet potato stole the show. Kids would love the Thai iced and bubble tea once their fully up and running. For now BYOB to share and enjoy the flavorful dishes at White Crane Creative Thai and Sushi. Updated recent visit with Phad See iew, Chiang Mai sausage and more delicious sushi and sashimi.”
