Thai Spoon and Sushi — japanese in Loop. Easy on the wallet. Cherry Jolie: "They added bell peppers and the broth was brown and slightly sweet/spicy, instead of white"

Don’t let the picture fool you, I had already eat half of the Karage Chicken. Some of the juiciest and flavorful I’ve had. The Tom Kha soup was also on point.

Honestly this place has great variety and quality for the prices, each meal was like $10-15, and the appetizers were standard. There is so much to choose from as well, with sushi, Ramen, meat dishes, rice, noodles, etc. And cocktails look very cool

As a native Thai, I highly recommend this place to fellow Thais in the U.S. or even locals who want to try real Thai food. The flavors are truly authentic and absolutely delicious. They also serve Japanese dishes, which are incredibly tasty as well.

“Delicious Thai style food.”
Delicious Thai style food.. The right quantity for the price I paid.. faster service.. They are fixing the Tip amount to be paid, which I personally don't like..

“GREAT value for the price!!”
GREAT value for the price!!! This is one of the last dinner spots out east that actually has affordable prices. And they did not fail to deliver flavor either. My dinner bill was $15.50 and I honestly haven’t seen that in ages let alone for good tasting, quality food. Zero price gouging going on here. Also Rungrat was great at assisting me in choosing a vegetarian option and I appreciated her open & honest guidance. I ended up ordering a Pad Kee Mao that I was very happy with. FYI the curries use fish paste so they are not veg friendly - I’d recommend getting a noodle or fried rice dish

“Thai Spoon is always super good.”
Thai Spoon is always super good. From the sushi to the tempura udon soup and their curry. It’s all so delicious every time. Their bubble tea has a slush texture and it’s sooo creamy and yummy (especially the green tea flavor). I visit Thai Spoon with my partner about 1-2 times a month and we’ve never been let down. We love you Thai Spoon! 5/1/25 I've returned after a long time and the food is still just as good! The pork gyoza was nice and crunchy. My partner tried the pad kee mao and he enjoyed it a lot as well and it was served to him very quickly! I wish we could come as often as we used to but this place is still very reliable for a delicious meal. Please excuse the second photo, I couldn't help but eat most of it before reviewing again.

“Very professional and hardworking.”
Very professional and hardworking. They were willing to keep the kitchen open for me and my party. The space itself is such a vibe and the food... the most important part... was good. I ordered the panang curry with tofu and it was perfectly spicy, sweet, and well cooked. Also the staff are very fast and efficient and work well together. The prices are great as well. It's a bit obscure, the storefront. It's attached to the Travelodge. Great Thai spot!!!
