“Muy buena experiencia. La comida es excelente y la atención también. Hugo, un crack. Desde Argentina, muy agradecidos!!”

“Sushi-San at the Willis Tower never misses and always gets it right! Big fan of the hand rolls for a quick lunch that is delicious, satisfying, and reasonably priced. My favorites are the crunchy fatty tuna, toro, spicy scallop, and then mixing it up with the roll of the day. Nice miso soup comes with the combo and you can stick with water or a refreshing cold green tea. Pull up to the bar, say what’s up to the friendly team, check some email, or just vibe. Long live Sushi-San!”

“Excellent food and the ambiance is so calming and laid back!”

“Hugo is AMAZING! We’re visiting with family that had never been to Chicago. Came to the Willis Tower for the Skydeck but it was too cloudy of a day. We spent our time at Sushi San and Hugo gave us great recommendations, made delicious old fashions with Japanese whiskey, and started off our Sake bombs (too fun!). The atmosphere is really open and nice to hang out. I would highly recommend checking them out!”

“Great choice for lunch in the Loop area. I like the Spicy tuna, the fish is always fresh. The edamame hummus is so good, I would get it again. I've never been disappointed by any of their rolls.”

“Convenient and fresh sushi spot for lunch if you work in the loop. Love the spicy shrimp and spicy tuna rolls. The sides (e.g., tofu, seaweed salad, etc.) are also very on point in terms of flavor. They also serve nigiri, but I haven’t had it. I usually just go in and grab items from their little fridge area (line is pretty short), but you can order ahead as well and just go to pick up.”

“Pretty unique experience. They make the hand rolls for you on the spot. Would recommend bundling - more affordable and you get the miso soup. Would need at least 3 hand rolls to fill, depending on your tummy capacity 😆. Was pretty tasty and an interesting experience. Great amount of natural light in the area as the dome was made of glass and let a lot of light in. Can be hard to find the place if you come in from the wrong entrance so attaching a video of how I entered (and guided by the kind security) guard.”

“Decent rolls succulent miso soup pleased with purchase. Got the bluefin tuna and avocado roll and lobster roll, broccolini, seaweed and miso soup everyone satisfied”

“I really like getting a roll and two sides (for extra $5). Salmon and avocado were delicious and fresh; the bite of lemon was interesting.”

“I go here after their lunch rush for their hand rolls. Once you order, you get to watch the chef make it and hand it to you. Portions are on the small side, but their seaweed is crisp and ingredients are fresh. Every time I've gotten their roll of the day it's something I haven't ever seen before at a sushi restaurant, and it's delicious. UPDATE: Dropping to 4 stars since the stall has not been updating their roll of the day regularly, and when they do the flavors have been pretty uninspiring. Also, they've raised the individual price of the roll of the day to $9, which even though everyone orders hand roll packs anyways, sounds pretty ludicrous for uninspiring flavors/ingredients.”

“I ordered pick up today, spicy shrimp sushi and the two spicy shrimp tacos. The tacos were delicious! The Sushi was okay, I’ve had way better from grocery stores - I don’t think having a singular piece of cucumber in the roll full of rice would honestly constitute as sushi, but the shrimp ball on top was tasty. Only reason I rate this a 4 is for the tacos. I hope to see better on the sushi for next time.”
