Sakae Sushi is an absolute gem! I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the sushi—it rivals some of the higher-end spots but without the pretentious vibe or steep prices. The sushi was flavorful, and expertly prepared. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. The presentation was clean and elegant, and everything comes out at absolutely beautifully. The service is consistently warm and attentive. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, they’re organized and efficient. The atmosphere strikes a great balance—relaxed and welcoming, but still polished enough for a nice dinner out. Whether it’s a casual sushi night, a date, or a small celebration, this place delivers every time. I highly recommend Sakae Sushi if you’re in the area!

This spot is a must try! Plenty of parking in the front and plenty of seating inside. I ordered for pick up and they were super responsive and food was made quickly and fresh. I highly recommend!

“We went on a Sunday night for dinner.”

We went on a Sunday night for dinner. We got seated promptly and the waiter came by for our order. I ordered miso soup, the Yaya roll, and chicken katsu chicken dinner. My fiancee just had the spicy California roll. There was a rush after we ordered and only two cooks so we got our food a little out of order my fiancee waited for her food while I had my dinner and still waiting for my roll. It wasn't too long of a wait and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back. I recommend this place to anyone that likes sushi.

After a long day I really wanted sushi, I found this place on google maps and it had great reviews and the pictures of the food looked Amazing! So, we stopped in here after packing up our booth and the place was busy! That’s always a great sign. The wait for a table wasn’t too long and pretty soon we were seated. I saw they had ramen and udon dishes so we opted to get 2 rolls to split and we each had a noodle dish. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and my husband had the Spicy Chicken Yaki Udon. I wanted the Philadelphia Roll and he got the Kamikaze Roll. They had Soju and I never had it before so I tried the peach Soju. Everything was Absolutely Delicious 🤤 if you want good food and great prices you definitely need to eat here! I saved this place on my maps so I can take my friend when we come back for Anime Midwest in July. 5 Stars, I would rate 10 if I could! They also give you a little cup of miso soup too that was complimentary!

Came for Mother’s Day for first time. Pretty extensive menu so we decided for their sakae special. Everything tasted great and the sushi was fresh and good size. The service was also very friendly despite them being busy.
