My husband and I had a fabulous time! We had 2 drink, 2 rolls, 1 Miso & the Chicken/Steak skewers and it was always delicious. Great experience at Momotaro! Every dish was expertly crafted to perfection and every detail was well thought out. Everything came out promptly and at the right temperature. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great ambiance. The service was a little slower than I would have expected for such an expensive high end restaurant but when we did receive service it was wonderful. Will definitely be back again!

Lily was an amazing server for our party of 7. She suggested great drinks, appetizers, food, and desserts. She was able to accommodate us all without hesitation. The food was fresh and appreciated the flavors. Again can’t stress enough how amazing Lily was. The one star off was for the Octopus which was so hard to eat it hurt my jaw. Besides that great experience.

Our family had an excellent experience at Momotaro! Paul was our server and he knew the menu exceptionally well. He provided recommendations that were spot-on, and he took the time to thoroughly explain each section of the menu. For the cold dishes, the Momo to Buri was the standout. In the hot dishes, we loved the Tsukune Dango, and the rice Chahan dish was fantastic. We also ordered three sushi rolls (Karai Tuna, Kani Jomaki, and Shio Koji Sake) and all were excellent. We would reorder all our food again. We were seated on the second floor, a loft-like space with only a handful of tables. It was spacious, comfortable, and had a low noise level. As we were leaving, we noticed the main floor was a bit louder, so we were grateful for our upstairs seating. We had an early 5pm reservation before heading to a 7pm Blackhawks game, and the timing worked out perfectly. We were not rushed and had a great meal. We would return and ask our server for more recommendations on our next visit!

For someone who came to eat wearing white pants and suddenly got her period halfway through, finding tampons in the restroom was such a wonderful surprise. I’m really grateful to this restaurant for being so thoughtful — it truly saved me. Also, the staff here all look like supermodels and are incredibly friendly and polite.

I’ve been to many Boka Group restaurants (Duck Duck Goat, Itoko, Alla Vita, Cabra, and more) and the service we received from Tanya at Momotaro truly stands out. Tanya’s service was exceptional from beginning to end. She is incredibly service-minded, kind, friendly, and always active in making sure everything is perfect. Her positive energy made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. She checked on us at the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Tanya is one of the best servers I’ve ever had, and she made our visit unforgettable. We will definitely return and we hope to sit in Tanya’s section again! 💕

“Our sever Nui was so wonderful.”

Our sever Nui was so wonderful! She was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious, the fish was fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. And the miso soup…oh my goodness the miso soup…I had two. I could’ve eaten 15. The tofu is soft and delicate, the broth is flavorful, it’s absolutely perfect. I’m not one for religion but I’m willing to believe in whatever higher power blessed the chefs who made that miso soup.
