“Nonna Silvia’s Trattoria & Pizzeria is awesome.”
Nonna Silvia’s Trattoria & Pizzeria is awesome! The food is fantastic and the service matches. We were attending the Chicago Sports Spectacular as vendors when the owner stopped by our booth. We had a great chat and he left his business card and encouraged us to give his restaurant a try. We are so happy we made the decision to stop by. It was a bit out of the way but worth the extra little drive. We will go back every time we are in the area. Food this good is hard to find!

“My wife and I had our Anniversary lunch here yesterday.”
My wife and I had our Anniversary lunch here yesterday. The food was excellant!! I had Chicken Marsalla which was not on the menu but they made it special for me. My wife had the Salmon Fillet and Grilled Octopus as an appetizer. The staff were all smiles and attentive. The owner/manager remembered it was our anniversary and brought us out some complimentary champagne at the end or our meal. It was a great end to a great lunch. We will be back very soon!!

“We enjoy this joint for traditional Italian cuisine.”
We enjoy this joint for traditional Italian cuisine. The food is delish, the service is attentive, atmosphere gets loud (sound proofing that main dining room would be a good call). Great wine selection & full bar. Highly recommend.

“We tried a little bit of everything at Nonna Silvia’s.”
We tried a little bit of everything at Nonna Silvia’s! I recommend getting reservations especially for the weekend. We didn’t know when we arrived and we waited about 20 minutes as the staff were kind enough to squeeze us in. We tried the Bruschetta, Grilled Peach Prosciutto Salad, Sachettini Porcini, Swisschard Fettuccine with added shrimp and LOTS of dessert. The bruschetta was great. The peaches in the salad were not fully ripe but I can see the potential. The Sachettini was rich but very good. Swisschard was also good and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. For dessert we tried the pistachio cheesecake, pistachio ice cream and apple dumpling/bread pudding. If you are a pistachio lover the cheesecake is to die for. I would go here alone just for this cheesecake. The wait staff was also extremely kind and very attentive! Amazing service.

“Amazing as always.”
Amazing as always! Started off with a couple handmade cocktails - I got the strawberry 🍓 mojito. It was the right drink to cool me down on a warm day. We were served fresh and warm bread for the table - Great for dipping in olive oil! We ordered the weekend specials - One was a pasta with fennel and sausage, and the other was a gnocchi with cheese and jalapeno. Both were amazing. The staff are very attentive and kind. We definitely look forward to coming back here again!

“First time visiting and have to say it won’t be the last.”
First time visiting and have to say it won’t be the last! The Sacchettini Porcini is so delicious 🤤 I could not stop eating them; the porcini mushrooms, the sauce and the pine nuts are just perfect! We also got grilled calamari and it was good. I will definitely go back to try more pastas and the pizza.
