“Acerra was one of the best restaurants i've ever been to!!! The owner Bobby was nothing short of amazing. Made you feel at home from the second you walked through the door. Our server Evan was fantastic as well, super kind and very attentive. Our food was INCREDIBLE. One of our favorites was the bread bowl appetizer with fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, and burrata. 10/10 would recommend!! I can't wait to come back here.”

“Everything about this place was incredible! Ordered a variety of dishes and every single one of them was outstanding. My family and I tried one of the specials one the menu which was mini calzones... Definitely one of our new favorite restaurants to go to!! Be sure to check it out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.”

“If you are thinking of visiting here, these are the three things to know: 1. Get the burrata & prosciutto - you will be pleasantly surprised by what you’re served with 2. Do you like the combination of a perfectly delicate, salty crunch and a smooth, creamy al dente pasta? If so, get the spaghetti carbonara 3. The drink menu is perfect - the espresso martini and autumn gin fizz Italian is hard to be “Wow!” in Chicago given the amount of amazing options we have here. This spot made it look easy”

“Genuinely such a great addition to the neighborhood! The staff is so lovely, the care and consideration into the drinks and food is absolutely 5 stars AND totally worth the price. My husband and I will be back for sure!”

“Absolutely loved my experience at Acerra! The food was incredible. The rigatoni vodka was creamy and flavorful, the eggplant parm was cheesy and saucy, and the burrata bread bowl was so fresh and unique. The chocolate cake was the perfect sweet finish. The patio is beautiful and such a great vibe for a summer night. The service was amazing and every staff member was so friendly. I even got to meet the owner who was genuinely kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back to try more, especially with their rotating cocktail specials. A must-visit in Chicago!”

“Great new Italian spot in bucktown. The happy hour is fantastic with half price appetizers, my favorite Burrata & Prosciutto. The place serves delicious artesian style Neapolitan pizzas and delicious pasta dishes. Now, let's spend little time on cocktails. Nia, the house bartender, create an amazing cocktail menu with well balanced dinner cocktails and "hugging your soul" desert martinis. I am not a sweet desert martini fan but the creamsicle martini she sat in front of me was gone in no time and I secretly wanted another one. They also have a outdoor patio on the side with lot of greenery and a fountain perfect for Chicago summer.”

“The food was delicious, I saw somebody eating a tasty looking pizza through the window and had to stop in! Intimate vibe with a very friendly staff, we will definitely be coming back! We had the prosciutto and burrata bowl, and the Diavolo pizza which was perfectly spicy and super flavorful. Can’t wait for next time!”

“Pasta was objectively bad. Gummy. Spaghetti snapped when you twirled it. Basically just dough. I guess points for knowing for sure it was made in house. It just needed to be made by someone who has tasted pasta before. And the sauce was not redeeming at all. I cannot believe no one has told them. Also, the music was horrendous and too loud. Wretched.”
“Dined in tonight with my wife! Food was fantastic and the service was even better! Definitely will be back”
“Absolutely incredible experience at Acerra! This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a long time. We ordered the burrata bread bowl, Neapolitan bruschetta, mini calzones, rigatoni vodka, Diavola pizza, and Amalfi pizza — every single dish was delicious! The staff was amazing from start to finish. Bobby, the owner was warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel at home. Evan, our waiter, was fantastic as well and was extremely friendly and attentive. Their hospitality made the meal even more memorable. Could not recommend more, already looking forward to returning!”
“This place is so wonderful! Some of the best service I've ever experienced. I'm so glad this gem is in our neighborhood. The food is great, venue is great, and the staff is even better.”
