The food was PHENOMENAL! Came from out of town and was looking for breakfast all day for me and lunch/dinner for my partner. The staff was so sweet, the coffee is amazing, and the food is delicious. Could not recommend enough if you’re in Chicago.

The portions were big and absolutely delicious, definite personal favorite in the city. Everyone here is super friendly. Delicious breakfast food served in a boutique-style cafe with prompt service. This cafe is beautifully decorated and a perfect location for breakfast or brunch. They offer a great variety of breakfast sandwiches, skillets and other classic breakfast items. Our food was perfectly portioned for a competitive price and delicious! The service is prompt and consistent. Our server was very friendly and kind. This cafe is best accessed by foot or public transit. There is parking in the surrounding residential area.

The first place me and my friends visited when we arrived in Chicago from Portland for coffee and breakfast and let me tell ya, there's a Labor of love in the coffees and the food is amazingly good and very rich! Certainly a great spot and, for me, a great first time experience of checking out a local Chicago joint!

Overall great for the price. If you like heavy taste, this is the place- felt like it was very American when I was there. The portions are regular but the sauce makes it quite filling.

I visited Le Cafe on 12/19. Jaime greeted me at the door. He was polite and nice and informed me of the Christmas drinks specials. Diana was very nice and had great customer service from the time she greeted me, took my orders and gave my bill. I ordered the Hot Marshmallow Peppermint latte (12 oz) with Almond Milk which was absolutely amazing! Tasted so good that I might go back there just to try the other Christmas drinks' specials. Coconut Waffle Sandwich was also very delicious and well cooked. Sausage, fried egg, avocado spread, rossted tomato, argula, swiss cheese was so delicious. It was offered with maple syrup. I found out later from the receipt that you will be charged 75 cents extra for almond milk and 75 cents extra for a small cup of ranch. I wish I was told about the extra charges earlier when I requested the items.
