Siri Indian Restaurant — indian in Pilsen. It has that lived-in, been-here-forever warmth. The flavors are genuine, nothing diluted. Well-priced. "The lamb was cooked until it was fall-apart tender" — Nicholas Lewis

“Ordered through DoorDash and loved what I got.”
Ordered through DoorDash and loved what I got. I ordered their Pani puri and was surprised with how many puris were given in the order and how good they were too! I also ordered their Hyderabad goat dim biryani and loved the flavor and how tasty it was. Ordered the lamb vindaloo with chapathi and that was really yummy and decently spicy as well. Had plenty of leftover for 2-3 meals too.

“This restaurant caters to all home-cooked delicacies from all parts of India, especially South India.”
This restaurant caters to all home-cooked delicacies from all parts of India, especially South India. The chicken lollipop was spicy but was very well-cooked and tasty. The Mysore Masala Dosa was very delicious, especially the stuffed and spiced potato filling. The Chettinad Chicken has different spicy options and we choose the medium option. It was prepared with the aromatic spices of the Chettinad region. The Thalappakatti Goat Biriyani is so yummy that it is recommended to be tried at least once, however, I am not a fan of the short grain Seeraga Samba rice.

“Small, unassuming spot dishing out surprisingly excellent, authentic, and affordable Indian food.”
Small, unassuming spot dishing out surprisingly excellent, authentic, and affordable Indian food. Mysore masala dosa was fantastic, definitely amongst the best in the city. The dosa itself had a great mix of crisp and soft bites, with a subtle toasty flavor and that signature fermented tang. I could tell the tomato chutney was phenomenal just from the curry leaves, red chilies, and spices in it. It was a smooth paste with additional texture from some lentils. Taste-wise, as expected, it was a flavorbomb layered with bold warm spices, tomato richness, and strong garlic notes. Sambar was warm, hearty, and super flavorful. The creamy peanut coconut chutney was also solid. I will definitely be returning for dosa night on Wednesdays.

“Schezwan noodles were SO GOOD.”
Schezwan noodles were SO GOOD! Portion sizes are good, flavor is excellent, I haven’t had food that felt worth the money in so long. If you’re missing the taste of FLAVOR, you will not go wrong by dining here.

This is a great Andhra style South Indian spot in the general vicinity of the UIC neighborhood. Most of the menu is authentic Andhra/Telangana style food. I ordered the Fish Apollo and the special Lamb Biriyani. Both were pretty good! Fast service and cozy and casual seating make this a great overall choice.

“Looking for some awesome South Indian food, especially dosa? Siri Indian Restaurant is the spot.”
Looking for some awesome South Indian food, especially dosa? Siri Indian Restaurant is the spot! It's a bit outside the city near UIC, but man, the food is worth the trip! It's a cozy, hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but don't let that fool you—the food is fantastic! We tried dosa, uttapam, idli, Medhu Vada, and everything was amazing! The dosa was crispy, the uttapam was flavorful, and the idli and Medhu Vada were spot on. The prices are really reasonable too, which is always a plus. We ended our meal with some warm Gulab jamun, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. If you're in the mood for some delicious South Indian food without breaking the bank, check out Siri Indian Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Very tasty! One of my favorite Indian food places. They are very generous with the Paneer. The Naan is also very good. Some places I think use frozen Naan, but this tastes much better. Free parking for patrons. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

I ordered the curry goat & the Siri special tandoori platters. Both were amazing and I won’t hesitate to order them both again. I don’t eat at Indian restaurants often but this makes me want to try more. Very good experience.
