Kababish BBQ & Grill
Kababish BBQ & Grill — honest indian in Old Town, where the Naan is worth ordering. Rooted in technique and tradition throughout. The staff makes it feel personal, and open late. Jordan Falk: "The grilled meats are juicy, tender, and layered with flavors from the laborious marinating process" [$]

“Tried the lamb curry at Kebabish BBQ & Grill and it was honestly outstanding. The curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with tender lamb in a well-balanced gravy. It came with fresh naan and a complimentary side, all for under $15 — great value for the quality and portion size. If you’re looking for authentic Indo-Pak cuisine in Chicago, this spot is definitely worth visiting.”

“Finally found a good spot for some Indian/Pakistani food. The best samosa I have had in US after trying a number of places. Highly recommend their biryani and the beef keema that I got was good as well. They are also very generous with their portions, so when you get food from here keep in mind you’re basically buying two meals in one.”

“I will not affect your rating, but you guys are losing business because of these Uber and limo drivers. So many cars were not able to even enter your parking lot and they left and all these Uber drivers and limo drivers were standing outside chilling and enjoying and gossiping. It took me 15 minutes to enter and then it took me another 15 minutes just to get out of this parking lot, I went inside the restaurant and literally only seven people were eating food while your parking lot was filled with more than hundred cars.. friendship is one thing, but you don’t mix that with business in real world you are losing money. Every car space occupied in your parking lot is a customer lost for the moment so think about it and make calculations that how much money you will be losing on weekends. Food is great !!!”

“Amazing service, food and staff! 10/10! Best Desi restaurant in Chicago!”

“Super authentic spot in old town with amazing food and open late at night. They give you amazing sized portions too”

“This place is a gem. Authentic Pakistani food. I see locals go here to eat. Samosas- buttery, flaky crust Chili Chicken rice - spicy and flavorful Goat Mandi - the meat was tender and juicy Goat biryani- great flavors It’s not a fancy place, but it feels very homey and you know the food is going to be good. There is free parking as well. It is open late hours so it’s also a really great drunk food option.”

“Respect the culture while visiting this establishment. Park somewhere in the parking lot, find your way through the back door, down two steps over to the counter place your order and look for when your order is ready. No numbers, just pay attention. Bring a hand fan to cool yourself while waiting for your order or step outside and shoot the breeze with the gentleman on the patio.”
“This place introduced me to chana chicken and have been trying to find the same flavors elsewhere since then. Not the fanciest of places but undeniably one of the best Pakistani restaurants I have been to. Big portions, sweet staff and loads of tastiness.”
“I went there at 1am and was treated so patiently and kindly. The spicy goat with rice 10/10. You definitely get your moneys worth. I will be back soon. So delicious!”
