I recently visited Nawaz Gulshan after quite some time, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The chicken platter I ordered was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and top-notch quality. The flavors were spot-on, and the quantity was more than satisfying. Muqeet Bhai, the owner, truly makes the place special with his warm hospitality and dedication to quality. I regret not coming here more often, and I definitely recommend Nawaz Gulshan to anyone looking for delicious, quality food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Food was literally amazing. We went there with zero expectations and were astonished by how tasty the food was! We had the Zafrani mutton marag and the iconic mutton haleem and both were literally out of this world. It reminded my of my hometown in India (hyderabad). I can confidently say its faaaar better than similar cuisine restaurants in the devon area. I never wanted to recommend a place this much because the person who served us the dishes was very polite and sincere. Will definitely visit again.

Don't order from here. The oil/fat/ghee is just floating in there. I puked after I ate the food. I will never order again. $20 for this Zafrani Mutton Dum Biryani is just a scam at this point and also the mutton tasted like beef rather than goat/lamb meat. Don't get fooled by the good reviews or portion. The qty is too less and also it felt like they just microwaved a lot of yesterdays biryani. I think they deleted their old page with bad reviews and created a new page. Just not worth.

Tried their haleem today and honestly, it’s one of the best haleem spots on Devon. The flavor was on point and really well balanced. The staff was really good and the service was fast. The guy at the front counter was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

I’m not from Chicago, but I had to leave a review after eating here. The food genuinely reminded me of Hyderabad. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and full of authentic flavor. The Zafrani mutton biryani was outstanding. You could tell it was made with care and proper spices, not watered down . The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable, which made it even better. What really stood out was the service. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It honestly felt like being at a neighborhood spot back home. Whenever I’m back in Chicago, this will be one of my first stops again.
