“Amazing South Indian food! Dosa was crispy, idli was soft, and uttapam was very flavorful. Will definitely visit again.”

“Crispy, flavorful dosa and great chutneys. Authentic taste and excellent service!”

“Some of the best dosa I’ve had in Chicago - extremely crispy and fragrant, and paired perfectly with the chutney on the side. The spicy cheesy masala had a strong kick and plenty of cheese in a very satisfying way. The Hyderabadi lamb biryani was aromatic and well-spiced with a lovely cardamom note. Service was a bit lukewarm, but given the price and food quality, I’d still happily come back.”

“Devon finally received a great place for authentic Kerala cuisine! Mintza has been phenomenal with their wonderful dosas which are made on spot and uses fresh ingredients. The servers carry a pleasant and cheerful attitude. The highlight dish here is the fish fry for which they used Pomfret. Truly compels you to lick your fingers. Also don’t forget to try out their traditional Kerala desserts which come as a part of their daily specials. So glad Mintza exists on Devon and I’d love to see them grow.”

“We got chicken biriyani, beef curry and porotta. Such an amazing restaurant and definitely recommend. Authentic kerala cuisine!!! 10/10 my favorite restaurant in all of Chicago”

“I have eaten here three separate times. Once for dinner, once we got takeout, and then we came in for breakfast. Every time the food and service has been great. We had the masala dosa, uttapam and idli for breakfast. All of the dishes were freshly made and delicious. I really enjoyed the chutney and sambar that come with the dishes too. The time we came for dinner we ordered the samudra sadya which is all seafood. It was so good! It comes with many small dishes. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend trying out their food and would like to go back and try some more of the items in their menu.”

“Foods seems okay but their drinks are expired, check them before you open. Not so friendly service, when they realize that they have expired stuff.”

“Didn’t pack chutney properly. Chutney spilled inside the cover.”

“Its an everyweekend go to breakfast where the food is 10/10 but today had a bad experience in the end of sambhar a strand of hair was diped into the end Please would advice to takecare of it Thanks”
“Without a doubt the only best place for south indian food joint and especially for chai and biriyani lovers !! And lots more !!!”
“First time having authentic Kerala Malabar (Malappuram, Kozhikode) style food here. Would drive all the way from Indiana (4 hours )just for this again. We tried Neymeen pollichade and rice, kerala chicken biriyani, mango pudding, Tea. Everything was delicious and to die for! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and even our 3 year old picky eater had a great meal! 😄 Price was very affordable given the current rates. $1 tea, $13.99 biriyani, $22 fish and rice. Quality and quality was great! Would definitely recommend.”
