“Authentic Thai cuisine, way better than crying tiger in my opinion!”

“Love the squid and braised pork over rice. Everything is good actually”

“Probably one of the best chicken satay I have had, but that cucumber salad that came with was off putting. It had very bitter taste. Crab fried rice was okay, its kinda blend without the fishsauce they give you. Noodle soup was also pretty good. Mango sticky rice was really good and most of all service was amazing.”

“Amazing food and very tasty. I liked the way dishes were prepared and served. Service was excellent.”

“We ordered tom yum soup, grilled squid, braised pork rice and tiger cry. Everything is delicious! The portion size is a bit small. The braised pork rice is really similar to a Cantonese style dish with different sauce flavor. Highly recommend it.”

“Wow! Delicious food. We showed up without a reservation on a Sat night. The restaurant was hopping - tables full, people waiting, and ongoing takeout pickups. We were told 30-45 minutes wait, but it was only a 20 minute wait. And totally worth it. For dinner we had R4,V2, and appetizers were chicken wontons and pork bun. Great flavors, fresh ingredients, kind and attentive service.”

“This restaurant is totally authentic and totally delicious!”

“We were able to walk in on Valentine’s Day as a last minute plan. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed all the food we got, especially the J.J. Tiger Cry and shrimp rolls. BYOB, but they have sodas and teas you can order in the restaurant. Highly recommend stopping in for a slightly elevated Thai food experience!”

“went here for a friend’s bday in february 2025. enjoyed my meal then, she had ordered the pork soup, and i recently returned after a year of waiting and also had this soup. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Dined in and ordered takeout, everything was delicious and fresh. Would order again!”

“I genuinely regret not trying JJ Thai sooner. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for 1.5 years, walked past it countless times, and only ate here for the first time last week. The food was so good that we’ve already been back three times. Highly recommend trying the Tiger Cry, Crab Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Salad, Papaya Salad — honestly, order anything and it’ll be delicious (at least in my experience). The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the best part? It’s BYOB. If you haven’t checked out this spot yet, you’re truly missing out. Whether you dine in or grab takeout, you’ll love it.”
