“This was our first time to Ati-Atihan I drove past it almost daily and took in the great smelling BBQ aroma across Milwaukee Ave”
Came in yesterday afternoon. Place was not busy at all, plenty of tables open.
Our family spent Saturday buffet at $50 person with band (band are ok but singer are not) however, food was not we are expecting, no vegetables, no kare-kare, no lechon kawali, no crispy pata, and desert was serve late and smallest serve one scoop of ube ice cream only….we are dissappointed, we should have ordered a la carte.
The food was okay, but the service was horrible.

This was our first time to Ati-Atihan I drove past it almost daily and took in the great smelling BBQ aroma across Milwaukee Ave., we finally decided to stop by and have a meal there. It was one of the greatest meals we've ever had. This was also the first time eating Filipino food. The flavors were unbelievable, I had the bbq skewered chicken and pork meal and my wife had the Pocherong Bisaya soup. The atmosphere was great and cozy, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I just can't say enough good things about this place. I already picked out my next menu item for my next visit. If your curious about this place, just go and enjoy it. You won't be disappointed.

“I'm usually critical but i love this place.”
I'm usually critical but i love this place! The interior is very modern but still distinctly Filipino. Very clean including serving areas. The sections of the layout are well thought of. The servers are efficient and well trained. Good job to the management! 👏

“Chicken inasal with pork bbq stick combo hits the right spot.”
Chicken inasal with pork bbq stick combo hits the right spot! The Bam-i and lechon kawali was yummy! Highly recommended! The staff are nice and the new location can accommodate bigger group. A suggestion, if your ordering grilled food for dine- in , call your order in advance and make it less waiting time for the food to be served.

“Per 2024 Golf Rd, and 2025 Milwaukee Ave, visits...: Food: very good.”
Per 2024 Golf Rd, and 2025 Milwaukee Ave, visits...: Food: very good. Of the Filipino restaurants eaten in the past year(!), this had the best garlic fried rice. It’s not the best _ever,_ but certainly better than that offered by other, larger, un-named competitors. Fish was good, beef as well; the egg rolls at our 2024 visit were too salty but not those ordered in 2025, and at all visits they always presented a decent mix of crispy and soft textures. The chicken breast in our Ati-Atihan Combo was excellent. Its sauce was not overpowering so its grilled prep could be tasted alongside the marinade. That's art in motion...or perfected barbecue? The thigh-lover in our group devoured his barbecued thigh Ati as well, so it was presumably just as perfect. Topping everything off, prices were thankfully decent. Service: our server was open and honest about the possible wait for our order. Up to 45 minutes but ours was luckily ready in about 20 due to our very arrival (the restaurant had just opened for the day and diners started piling in later). At our 2024 visit our server remembered our discussion at seating about the leche flan, and asked if we were interested in it after the main course. But of course! Alas, that dessert was not available at our Milwaukee Ave visits. Maybe another day? Atmosphere: this has always been a very family oriented Filipino restaurant which has moved to various locations in Niles, Illinois. So far, this newest one has been the best. There's a great decor and enjoyable background radio. My co-diner laughed at the Christmas music that played throughout our late September 2024 visit; it was present again in (just? it was so cheerful!) one April 2025 visit, along with a fine music mix for families. This newest Milwaukee Ave location also had a stage for a band. When does it play? Saturday nights? Quick, move the tables out of the way for dancing.

“Chicken Ati-Atihan Filipino Grill & Restaurant is a fantastic choice for quick, tasty, and savory dishes.”
Chicken Ati-Atihan Filipino Grill & Restaurant is a fantastic choice for quick, tasty, and savory dishes. Begin your meal with the flavorful egg rolls. For the main course, you can’t go wrong with the Grilled Chicken Skewers, Sinigang, Dinakdakan, and Pancit Canton. The Sisig is particularly noteworthy for its rich, savory taste. Finish off your meal with their famous Halo-Halo, a delightful treat that perfectly caps the dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, and the attentive staff ensures a pleasant visit. Whether you're a fan of Filipino cuisine or looking to try something new, Chicken Ati-Atihan offers a delicious and satisfying dining experience.

Chicken Ati-Atihan Filipino Grill and Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey into the heart of Filipino cuisine. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere, combined with its friendly and attentive staff, makes every dining experience memorable. Their signature dish, the Chicken Ati-Atihan, is a must-try, perfectly grilled with a balance of smoky and tangy flavors that authentically capture the essence of Filipino barbeque. The menu also features a wide variety of traditional Filipino dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and a home-cooked feel that transports you straight to the streets of Manila. Whether you're a fan of Filipino food or trying it for the first time, Chicken Ati-Atihan Filipino Grill and Restaurant is the perfect place to indulge in delicious, authentic flavors in a warm and welcoming setting.

If you're looking for delicious Filipino food in Chicagoland, head to Chicken atiatihan. Meat is tenderly cooked, and their sisig is authentic. Don't miss out on their kinilaw. Beef Sinigang was awesome as well! Come over and see why it's one of the best and my favorite Filipino restaurants in the area.

“Great food and service.”
Great food and service. Good pinoy food fix, and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the batsoy, and chicken inasal. 3/10/24 Enjoyed the Sizzling Tofu. Crispy tofu and the sauce was tasty. The pochero had a deep ginger flavor.

“The combo ati-atihan is phenomenal.”
The combo ati-atihan is phenomenal! And it comes with 2 servings of rice. We also ordered pork sisig, lechon kawali, and Bam-i pansit. The lechon kawali is crispy outside and tender inside. We would be back for sure!
