“Decently generous portions of meat. My only complaint is I asked for two oaxaqueños and i got two regular chicken, but whatever, it was still good. Maybe confirm your order with the employee twice. The verde salsa was my favorite!”

“yum yum yum yum yum yum yum!! AND A FREE TAMALE?! holy moley dude, that’s nice. it was also really gooooooood. mmmmmMMmmMmmMmM! 10000000000/10. this place is definitely for tamale lovers!❤️❤️❤️ and the lady at the counter was sooooo nice to us. We will definitely be back!!”

“You cannot go wrong. Atole is phenomenal especially on cold days. Red chicken, green chicken, red pork, green pork, beans and cheese, pepper and cheese, sweet, such as strawberry, guayaba, coconut, and pineapple tamales! The lady who owns the place is wonderful and kind! Get one and eat on your way to the Mexican Art museum.”

“We ordered tamales for Christmas Eve and they were delicious! They were sweet enough to take our order one day beforehand. The food was ready for pick up on Christmas Eve.”

“VERY flavorful and the prices are great! However the red tamales weren’t spicy at all, and there wasn’t enough meat in them (especially the pork tamales). Still good though! And the lady was nice and patient with me… I’ll come back ^_^”
“I go here every week, the food is great and the people are always friendly. Highly recommend!”
“The best tamales I have ever had!!! And their atole is incredible. Can’t recommend more!”
“Field trip to Pilsen! On the way back from exploring the museum. I had already stopped at the local bakery and brought a Mexican roll (bolillo) and a soda. Picked up some tamales, walked across the street and had an impromptu picnic at Harrison Park. Price per tamale was reasonable, size of tamales was large and the meat fillings were generous. Lady was very nice! Highly recommend if you need a good tamale fix.”
