Vasilis in Naperville is one of our favorite spots. The food is delicious, the cocktails are amazing, and the interior is beautiful and cozy. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes us want to come back every time. We always return here and highly recommend this place

Came here for Naperville restaurant week and braved the cold and it was well worth it. I started with the Morrocon lentil soup. Was amazing and I was served a large bowl. So much taste was seasoned perfectly. Next was the main course of lamb meatballs. Again 4 -2oz balls on the plate that was a big serving that tasted excellent. For dessert I had the banana crème napolean. The banana pastry crème was perfect along with the phyllo wafer. Of course had to have the flaming saganaki which was fantastic. Definitely will be coming back here

Came here for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was very good and came very quickly. Our server, Siba was so personable and attentive. Overall had a great experience- will definitely be back!!

Wow! We visited on January 8, 2026, to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable thanks to Nick. He was truly incredible; thoughtful, patient, and so attentive throughout our entire visit. Nick guided us through the menu with care and helped us make excellent choices, making the experience feel special from start to finish. His spirit, smile, and overall ambience were wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcomed. To make the night even more memorable, he surprised my husband with champagne to celebrate his birthday, along with a scoop of ice cream, such a kind and generous touch. Nick deserves all the recognition (and a raise!) because everyone should have the opportunity to be served by someone as exceptional as him. We truly hope that when we visit again, we’ll get to hear all about his trip to Mexico-he absolutely deserves it.

We celebrated my father’s birthday at this restaurant and had a great experience. The food was delicious — we ordered lamb, pork, fish, and a pork steak to try a variety of dishes, and everything was prepared very well. The baked pork was a bit on the dry side, which is more a matter of personal preference, but overall it was still tasty. The presentation was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is very nice and welcoming. The only thing we missed was a birthday acknowledgment — it would have been lovely to receive a small dessert such a special occasion. Overall, a wonderful place with great food and atmosphere.

Fantastic place !! Simply the best food and service in town . You can’t go wrong !! Justin and Liz were amazing hosts, the hospitality is extraordinary !!! The food was amazing … we had to take some home .. We usually don’t do drinks or dessert but we went for both and we were blown away Definitely be back for more !! If you’re in town you cannot miss this place !!

We waited over 1.5 hours for our food and it still gets 5 stars!!!!! Our waiter accidently lost or forgot to place our ticket for dinner (no big deal). We did the octopus, gyro and chicken skewer. The olive oil garlic sauce that come with the octopus is to die for !!! Rich taste with herbs. Chicken skewers were seasoned well and you are able to see them cook meals on the large industrial wood fire grill. Quality of food is above average and worth every penny. We have been there twice already.

This was our first time at Vasili’s, and we will definitely be back! The food, cocktails (Vasilissa especially), and service were all outstanding. My partner especially enjoyed the Octopodi, and my favorite was… everything! It was pretty busy, as it was a Saturday night, but we felt very well taken care of by our server Dani, and the rest of the staff. I enjoyed the fun ambiance in the dining room, and appreciated the attention to detail exhibited by the entire staff. Well done!

Blew us away in every way. The mussels, hummus, shrimp souvlaki, and octopus were truly out of this world. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. The cocktails were great too. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and could not have asked for a better experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the night feel special and effortless even with children. This spot just earned a permanent place on our favorites list.

Hands down best food around downtown Naperville. Our server Nick was incredible and recommended the most delicious dessert called Banana Cream Napoleon. 10/10 recommended. Best service and great food. We will be back.

Here is a fresh, human style, duplicate free five star review in English with zero hyphens anywhere: Vasilis gave me one of the most impressive dining experiences I have had in Naperville. The moment you step inside, the lively atmosphere sets the tone for a fun night out, whether you are on a date or sharing a meal with friends. Service felt warm and attentive, and every part of the meal left a strong impression. The halibut arrived perfectly cooked and presented with care. The texture was tender and the fish tasted very fresh. I did wish for a touch more seasoning, but it still made for an enjoyable seafood dish. The paidakia, or grilled lamb chops, became an instant favorite. The sauce added bold flavor and the lamb was cooked exactly right. There was a bit more melted fat than I personally prefer, yet the dish remained satisfying from the first bite to the last. The biggest surprise of the night was the hummus. It was unbelievably smooth, wonderfully balanced, and easily the best version I have tried in the area. Many other guests mentioned it in their reviews and I can fully agree with them. The broccolini side also impressed me. It carried a deep, smoky flavor and the slight char made it even more delicious. It tied the whole meal together in a very pleasing way. The drinks were excellent. Each one felt carefully crafted with thoughtful flavors that paired beautifully with the food. From beginning to end, the experience was top tier. With terrific dishes, real attention to detail, and a very inviting atmosphere, Vasilis deserves a spot on the must visit list for anyone spending time in Naperville. Five stars without hesitation.
