“The staff is so wonderful.”

The staff is so wonderful. Steve was fantastic. They had good food, live music, nice atmosphere. The staff all signed a birthday card and made me such a delicious birthday dessert. They are incredibly thoughtful and each and every person had a smile of their face. We really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend

Came here for dinner with my friends before we saw a play at the Goodman Theater and everything was delicious! I didn't think the Gouda fondue would change my life, but here we are. The chicken wings are a little spicy with the hot glaze!!! Yum yum yum

Part of The Wit hotel and included in the daily F&b credit. Highly recommended with or without the credit. The steak burger is a huge bargain. Its huge, juicy and has fixings piled high served along with potatoe skin fries and a pickle chunk. Amazing value!! I had the cosmo 2 days in a row. Served in a chilled cut crystal glass - from presentation to taste - perfection. Staff was attentive without being annoying but right there when I needed refills. Don't hesitate- Make this place part of your plans.

We decided to check out this resturant due to the location to the Chicago Theatre and the reviews we read. I am so glad we did! Boliver was our server and he was amazing, he even helped surprise my best friend with a piece of their double chocolate fudge cake for his birthday 🎂 I was also impressed by their inquiry of any allergies for the table, it was nice that they wanted to ensure everyone had a safe meal. The garlic bread fondue was amazing and definitely the highlight for me. I also got a NY strip and it was cooked exactly the way I wanted and tbe demi glaze was so delicious. Overall we were so impressed and will be back again!

“This place is fantastic.”

This place is fantastic. The service was impeccable. The decor was great and I really enjoyed the ambiance. I told my waiter I had a mild shellfish allergy and he went above & beyond to make sure at no point was my food even remotely near shellfish. All the staff were very polite and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the mocktail refresher and wings to start, Steak House burger with a side of honey butter carrots for the entree. It was wonderful. I was very full after but it was so good that I had to try a dessert! I got the banana pudding and it was well worth it! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city and looking for a great restaurant!

We stopped in after show at Chicago Theatre on a Friday. They had a musician playing which was nice to have entertainment with our meal. Ordered a burger medium rare and it arrived cooked medium rare. That rarely happens at restaurants so it was much appreciated. (Adding pics but lighting was dark in space so apologies but the tuna was very nice and fresh looking.)

Visited yesterday after a conference for a quick bite. Had the Burger and fries. The burger was huge, fresh and loaded. I wasn't expecting double patties so I removed one because it was too much for me. Real bacon, cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. I was impressed that I asked the bartender to make me a drink that wasn't on the menu and she made it for me. It was delicious!!! Great spot to visit with friends for good food and comfort food.

Came here for dinner two nights while staying at the Wit since it's a part of the hotel. There's an entrance from inside the hotel lobby, but there's also a street entrance. The first night was more crowded as the Roof bar was closed. The second night was pretty quiet. Both nights service was friendly. Decent menu options at a reasonable price for a hotel restaurant. Good selection from sandwiches, salads, cocktails, seafood, desserts, etc... Ordered salad with brussel sprouts one day and the Sea Bass the next day. All the dishes were plated nicely and tasted good. I usually avoid the hotel restaurants, but was good food at a fair price.

Getting seated took a few minutes since the restaurant was empty with nobody around. Water was brought immediately. The server appeared to take our drink orders. The server soon took our dinner order with a great suggestion for exchanging out the gluten fries for a Caesar salad. All 4 of us tremendously enjoyed our meals. Our water did get empty a few times but staff always appeared soon, apologized and refilled. The bathroom was clean. There is a bar area. Absolutely one of the best steaks I have had in a while! Even the Caesar dressing was so much better than normal.

“The food is good.”

The food is good. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the course of my stay here. The pork chilaquiles are great for breakfast as well as the 201 breakfast, and breakfast burrito. Lunch I had the impossible burger a few times, it was great every time. The truffle veganaise is the best part of the burger. I had multiple salads and the rigatoni for dinner all great. I will definitely come back again.
