What I experienced at this business was RACIST, discriminatory, and deeply degrading. When I entered the establishment to inquire about services, I was immediately told, “We are fully booked,” without being asked what I needed or given any opportunity to explain my request. This response was dismissive and presumptive, and it set the tone for the interaction. The employee then became aggressive and visibly hostile toward me. Concerned, I asked if she was okay. She responded that she was “nervous” and “scared” because someone had come in “behaving weirdly.” This statement was completely false and alarming. I was calm, respectful, and simply asking about services. The implication that I was frightening or threatening was offensive and rooted in harmful stereotypes. I am a Black woman, and I was clearly judged and treated unfairly because of it. This behavior created an unwelcoming and hostile environment. Notably, when the employee realized that I was not a native to the area, her tone and demeanor shifted drastically—further confirming the discriminatory nature of this encounter. I am not a “scary” person, nor did I behave in any way that warranted fear or suspicion. The way I was treated was unacceptable and reflects racial bias and unprofessional conduct. This business should be ashamed of how customers are treated, and immediate corrective action is necessary.

I had a great experience at the spa, the receptionist was friendly and the massage ladies were great! The rooms are clean and welcoming. I felt really comfortable with all the security measures they have in place for clients and therapists. I would highly recommend the couples massage here!

“My first time here.”

My first time here! On time. Clean. Professional. I had CeCi and she was a strong! But always checked in to see how I was feeling. Great spa. Great for last minute availability. Also I came here on a Wednesday and parking was available right in front during the day. It is close To Wrigley field so be mindful of that.

I've been here several times for massages and have always left very happy and relaxed! I recently helped plan a friend's bachelorette party and we knew we wanted to do a spa in the morning. I immediately reached out to Reflexion and they were SO easy to work with! They allowed us to book them fully for our group, so it was just us in the space. We had a few people back out pretty close to the day and Reflexion was very accommodating with the last-minute changes. 10/10 recommend!

I came here yesterday for some much needed ‘me time’. I got a 90 minute massage done and it was nothing short of heavenly!! My therapist (so sorry I have forgotten her name) was so attentive to the areas I needed worked on, she massaged knots I didn’t know I had! She even used the hot stones to work on some extra tough knots and it felt amazing. Highly recommend coming here!! Can’t wait to come back for my next massage. Thank you!

Came here for couples massages, once around the time of COVID restrictions, and another time just recently. The massage therapists we had both times were excellent and took special care to focus on my problem areas. It was a very tranquil experience, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the utmost hospitality. We returned for a couples massage on Valentine’s Day weekend, and the kind lady at the front desk gave me a crocheted flower 🌻 as a little gift to celebrate the holiday. A small gesture like this really goes a long way. Wonderful massages, and great customer service! Can’t wait till next time! :)

“Good massages for a great price.”

Good massages for a great price. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage and wow, it was a DEEP TISSUE massage. It hurt so good (iykyk), and the severe back pain I came in with was gone the very next day and hasn’t been back since. Will be immediately returning here the next time my back is tight and knotted.
