“Este Lugar Está Chevere para pasar un rato con tus amigos y y tomar par de tragos la comida está más o menos no acaba d convencerme pero los tragos están de una, lo unico raro es que si te gustaría sentarte en una mesa tendrías que hacer reservación porque de lo contrario te senteras en n la barra que no tiene nada de Malo dan buen servicio también la cosa es que tienen todas las mesas vacías y no te pueden dar una mesa???? Ok…. Pero la música y los tragos están al lado 100”

“I was here with a few girlfriends about 10pm on a Saturday. We got a table right away. The vibe seems to be more of a party club vibe which is fine except everyone is at tables and eating/drinking. The music was so loud I couldn’t talk to the person across from me. We did not eat, the food was very expensive, $6.50 for a single steak taco. We got drinks which were more normally priced for what you got. The drinks were fine but the music was so loud we didn’t even finish our drinks before leaving. Don’t plan on returning.”

“I want to like Mucho Gusto. I really do. It’s sitting right there in Logan Square, a neighborhood that used to have some dirt under its fingernails but now specializes in selling you a manicured experience. And stepping inside this place, it just hits you with too much noise. It’s loud. Not the good, chaotic energy of a packed, sweaty dive where everyone is locked into the same groove, but that performative, bright, hyper-designed loudness that feels like it’s trying too hard to prove it’s alive. Neon, flowers, butterfly wings—it’s a lot of visual static before you even get a drink in your hand. When you cut through all that aesthetic hustle, you realize the math just doesn't add up. The food is flat out not that great. You're expecting bold flavors to match the room, but it lands with a thud. The drinks are completely average, hiding behind heavy presentation instead of actual balance, and when the bill hits the table, the illusion completely shatters. For the price they’re asking, it’s a total mismatch. Nothing here connects. Then there’s the service, which is just completely plain. There is zero personality behind it. In a space that's screaming at you to feel something, the staff interaction feels totally hollow, like you're being served by corporate robots going through the motions of a script. There’s no soul, no human connection to anchor the experience. The room itself just doesn't give you space to breathe. It’s trying to be a sanctuary of Latin energy, but instead, it feels like it's built for a camera lens rather than a human being who just wants to sit down, get a clean pour of mezcal, and have a real conversation. I don't need a restaurant to put on a theater production for me, especially when the kitchen and the staff can't back up the ticket price. Give me something grounded. Give me a place where the pretense is left at the door and the space lets the spirit talk, not the decor. Mucho Gusto has the tools, but right now, it’s just drowning out its own heartbeat with the volume turned up way too high. The Brunch- not worth it.”

“My Husband and I were trying MG for the first time during the opening of the World Cup. Service and everything was great at first, however it went downhill fast after receiving the check! My husband gave his card right away, they charged him and gave him his card back. So we left and started walking back to our house when we realized one of the male waiters ended up chasing us out and around the block to tell us that we hadn’t paid! So my husband tries to explain that we had alrdy paid inside but the waiter won’t listen or take no for an answer so they force my husband to go inside and pay more than double what our check had said! We didn’t have that extra cash at the time so I had to transfer money from my account while they threatened, berated him, and literally detained him inside! HUMILIATING HIM for something he DIDN’T DO AND saying that they would have him arrested if he didn’t cough up the extra money! I AM APPALLED AT THE LACK OF DEESCALATION AND UNDERSTANDING OR COMPASSION! Then days later we got A THIRD CHARGE FOR ANOTHER $30, if y’all wanted to scam us you could’ve just said soooo!! Here’s the literal receipt for reference and we were charged close to $150 in total for the less than $50 of beers we bought that day!”
