“Man what a gem can't wait to go back!! I Blessed Lola's for the first time, Loved everything about it small restaurant but clean and comfortable. I ordered 2 Detroit style coney's chili, onions and mustard simple...when I took my first bite into my Coney I immediately new it killed any coney's l've had in Detroit/anywhere. The amazing snap on the coney dog was awesome, nice soft bun, but the best part was that home made chili boy!! Mouth watering!! It was so smooth and silky texture and the flavors were just out of control amazing loved it best part for me...From what I know he gets his coney's straight from Detroit. This place is amazing and it is the only Authentic Detroit Coney Island place in Chicago!! They have ever type of Faygo pop you want and best of all the staff was super nice and very accommodating! 100% recommend!!”

“Hot dog shack with everything you could ask for - good food, small interior with a few spots to sit, and a small but solid menu. Both the chili and Chicago dog were great. They don't come with fries, but the price is fair.”

“The Chicago style dogs are delicious! Super friendly staff and neat seating outside and inside. Let's not forget lobster roll Fridays!!!”

“The best!! For real chi town food one of the yummiest burgers and dogs on the planet 🌎!!!!”

“Exactly what we were looking for when we drove from the twin cities to Chicago. Looking for a true Chicago hot dog experience. The young lady was so nice that she let me back my truck and trailer and take up the whole parking lot while my wife and I waited for our food. The homemade touch is great. We could not decide what dog to try so. Starting with cheesy bacon, fries and onion rings with an amazing dipping sauce. For a choice of hot dogs, we went with the Chicago dog, (nice snap and fresh fixings)of course. The New York dog and we tried the Detroit dog ( nice spice to the chili!). All were great. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. They don't do justice.”

“Great Hotdogs and grand variety of food super clean, friendly people .”

“The best polish sausage and onion rings! Their grilled onions on the polish were diced and grilled beautifully! The sauce that comes with the onion rings was fabulous. It was so good I forgot to take pictures before I started!”

“I finally made my way to Lola's Coney Island after passing by for months, and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Having been to Detroit multiple times, I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to Coney Dogs, and Lola's did not disappoint. While the chili wasn't an exact match to what I've had in Detroit, it came impressively close. But let's be clear, I'm not complaining in the slightest. In my humble opinion (and to my Detroit friends, please don't come for me), a Coney Dog is essentially a chili cheese dog. I've had this debate countless times, but my stance remains firm. I opted for takeout and added a side of cheese-drenched fries to my order. The fries were a revelation - crisp, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The cheese had a unique blend of seasonings that elevated it beyond the ordinary. It was a delightful departure from your standard cheese. The restaurant itself exudes a cozy, neighborhood joint vibe and is impeccably clean. It's the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. I can say with certainty that I'll be returning for my Coney Dog fix. Having never come across a spot in Chicago that serves up these Detroit delicacies, Lola's has now become my go-to. A special shoutout to the friendly and pleasant staff member who took my order - it added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. For my fellow Detroiters living in Chicago, if you're on the hunt for an authentic Coney Dog, look no further than Lola's. You won't be disappointed.”

“The best Chicago style hot dog in the city . They have 2 awards for their hotdogs”

“I love a good hot dog and while this wasn't the best hot dog, it was pretty darn good. Service was great. Atmosphere was cute. I have to mention how CLEAN this place is inside. Floors, tables, windows, even the mustard and ketchup containers were clean and not sticky. I was impressed. It's a little building with a welcoming inside decor. I'll go back.”

“We drove 2 hours from Wisconsin to try their Detroit style coney dogs. The coney dogs were very good really worth trying. I was born in Detroit and visit family often and i have eaten plenty of coney dogs And the only complaint was the $6 onion rings they taste good but kind of skimpy. The lady who took our order was very nice but parking was a limited. I will definitely take the rest of the family on a road trip to have them try it”
