So I went there a week or 2 ago and tried to get a meal and they ran out of virtually all of their sides except the ones I didn't like lol so I couldn't get my meal.
One if the most flavorsome, tasty meals I've had in the loop.
So good. I got the chicken tips and fries. The spice rub and sauce is magic and the chicken was cooked perfectly.
We tried J Spice for the first time today and wow, we are already planning our next visit.

I truly enjoy the food at this establishment; however, I have consistently experienced concerns regarding customer service.
I purchased a banana pudding. I asked the cashier if it real homemade custard and she responded “yes”.

So I went there a week or 2 ago and tried to get a meal and they ran out of virtually all of their sides except the ones I didn't like lol so I couldn't get my meal. I came back today and they had all their sides and I ordered the oxtail with Mac and cheese and cabbage. They let me try the mac and cheese first before I ordered it, it was very good. This was a delicious meal, the oxtail was a 8/10 the whole plate together was a 9/10 I was very happy with the size. Most times I go places and order oxtail my plate is light this felt like it was going to be filling and it absolutely was. I would definitely recommend this place. I did hear they won't be at the current location in the Food Hall on Washington in the Loop much longer though so get there while you can.

Ordered for lunch the rice bowl with jerk chicken added! It was so delicious and flavorful. Also got a pineapple soda and it paired so well with the bowl. This food is clean and size is generous too. I will save the rest of my bowl for later :)

We tried J Spice for the first time today and wow, we are already planning our next visit. The jerk chicken was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and had the ideal spice level without overpowering the flavor. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the greens were cooked just right. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality and makes it absolutely worth it. We couldn’t stop eating; it was that good. And the friendly guys at the counter made the whole experience even better. We can’t wait to go back!

I've been staying at the Hyatt House for a couple of weeks now due to repairs on my unit and haven't had a real cooked meal since and had no idea this catering service was located on site because the hotel does more promotion for the HBar, and the past couple of days I've had some of the best meals in Chicago now having tried J.Spice. I had my first jerk chicken egg rolls with the Mac & Cheese and literally melted. This spot is 🔥 🔥🔥 don't sleep on them.

Tried the Jerk Burger at the Rock & Rail Festival. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life. The perfect kick of spice, amazing flavor on the meat, perfectly grilled and just the right amount of toppings. The chef was friendly and you could chat with him while he cooked. I will definitely remember J Spice for an incredible meal and would highly recommend them!
