I tried their latkes with smoked salmon dip. I really liked this dish because it had two of my favorite things and both worked well together. They also have their own bagels that they make fresh every day, I will absolutely be back for those. Cheese curds were spongy and I like how they give a hot sauce and buttermilk ranch in true midwestern fashion. I obviously got the burger, it has sharp American cheese, diced onions, roasted garlic aioli, and house dill pickles. This really reminded of an Au Cheval burger without bacon, and I really liked it. I also am more impressed with this burger because I typically don’t like lettuce on a burger, but they did it right. Hats off to Half Sour for the good food.

We live near by and have stopped in a few times and ordered in as well. Truly 5/5 food and experience when dining in. Today we stopped in for brunch and the donut of the day or week was a cinnamon roll which was easily the best I’ve ever had. They have vegetarian options on the menu which is a plus. I had the vegetarian hash, and it was beautiful, I skipped eating the egg but the rest was delicious. We’ve had the cheese curds as well and they are 10/10. Not sure you could go wrong at all, highly recommend.

I’ll admit we didn’t eat here but people who got food, looked like big portions. Really good vibe. Good drinks. Bartenders were ultra friendly. A bunch of tvs behind the bar so could watch some college football. A place if we weren’t going to dinner somewhere else, we would have hung around for a while. Update: we went back the next day for food. Got some burgers on their specials menu that were really good plus charred buffalo wings. Guy next to me guy a gyro special that looked solid. One of my favorite spots on the trip.

Pros: Cons: 1) Food 1) Wait time for food 2) Drink 3) Server The food was fabulous. The draft beer (Revolution Eugene Porter) was great. Our server (Sierra) was friendly and attentive. We before noon, and the customers kept coming in, so this is definitely a desired eatery. Located on the first floor. Outdoor seating is available on our visit: 13 Apr 2024

Came here after reading some of the reviews praising their burgers and they did not disappoint! Some of the best burgers I've had in the city (have tried both cheeseburger and swiss miss burger), excellent cheese curds as well. Take-out available via phone, delivery available via Grubhub. Fast service.

Great, welcoming vibe with surprisingly delicious food. Loved that the windows were open on a perfect fall day and they let us change the TVs to watch a football game. Definitely will be back!

I've been to Half Sour several times as it's right around the corner from my place. I always have a good experience here. I started with the homemade bagel, which was SO GOOD. For my main course, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs, which was perfect and delicious. I also had a chance to try the freshly made blueberry donut which was a delicious and decadent treat. The service at Half Sour was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun and inviting with lots of great tunes playing. It's a great place to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the people watching! Also, big plus from me: it's dog friendly! Overall, I always have a wonderful experience at Half Sour. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Printers Row.
