Oysters were delicious & well shucked. The dates with speck were excellent, as was the artichoke bruschetta. We enjoyed an orange wine from Austria that was very lovely. The food & drinks came out quickly & ambiance was quiet & classy. Highly recommend.

Figo Wine Bar is a hidden gem in Lakeview that never disappoints. I recently visited with a friend and we shared a selection of tapas: the truffle arancini, pork belly, and gnocchi. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. We paired our meal with a bottle of Italian red wine, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff was knowledgeable about the wine list. We spent around $100, which felt like a steal for the quality and experience. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, Figo Wine Bar is a must-visit.​

Such a cute place to grab a drink! I came here with a few friends and we had such a cute time grabbing some drinks and enjoying the fun ambiance! Service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy so we didn’t mind too much and they were super helpful with choosing drinks!

Let me start by saying that the vibes at here are everything! Couple that with their extensive wine selection and you have the recipe for a delightful visit. Perfect for a date night or girls night out, this spot has a good selection of pastas, Italian tapas and entrees. They have wine flights/flights on Tuesday and Wednesday (4 wines) and their happy hour includes great deals like $10 cocktails and $25 charcuterie boards. Here's what I tried: Rhône blend Port - Taylor Fladgate 10 Year Whiskey Sour Shrimp & clams Bistro fries Bruschetta Gnocchi It was my first time trying the Rhône blend - a red, robust wine that is easily now one of my favorites! The Italian style tapas give you the chance to try a few different things, which I love and the entrees are huge - perfect for sharing. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit to the Lakeview area and when you go, tell em Bri from Planes and Plates sent you!

10 out of 10 Randomly searching a nice place to celebrate my pre birthday with my best friend in Boystown tonight. Luckily, I found this place next to the Belmont CTA Station of red line. Excellent happy hour selections between 5-6 pm. Three top dishes that you MUST TRT, Pork belly, Grilled octopus and meatball. They were incredible amazing every single bites. Service was outstanding by Mariam and her colleagues. Love the atmosphere of the place. And they also have a few private event space upstairs. Looking forward to return again soon!

Stopped in for a glass of wine before an event - it was busy but I was able to snag a seat at the bar. The bartender was slammed but the host was so attentive that my wait was almost nothing! Everyone was very friendly. Food looked and smelled great so I’ll have to come back!

Figo Wine Bar has excellent wine and tapas, I love spending ambient dinners at Figo for all sorts of celebrations. I usually have small birthday dinners there with the staff always being amazing & very thoughtful. From the menu, the Gnocchi is one of the best I've had around the area, and all the appetizers are lovely. I recommend the Bruschetta & Arancini and I recently tried the Watermelon Salad - wow, beyond tasty!

I live in the neighborhood and this has become one of my go-tos. The staff are friendly and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Favorites are definitely the risotto balls and the pork belly. Every cocktail I have had is delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lakeview, a nice little hidden gem. Great place if you want to try some tapas, and wine or cocktails, and in the summer you can sit outside. Get the burrata, pork belly, fettuccine, and beef carpaccio. The sauce on the fettuccine was unreal and we ate it all very quickly. The servers will recommend 4-5 plates but I promise you will only need four. We also paired the meal with their Smoke on the Water mezcal drink, we each had four... Always a great meal when we come here and can't wait to be back.
