Ordered the Arroz Con Gandules Y Bistec Encebollado, and it was packed with onions and peppers but barely 4oz of actual meat.
Wanted to eat here for my birthday today, took it to go.

My mom and I stopped by Café Rosa because I was craving their delicious jibarito, and once again, they did not disappoint. We were seated right away, and our server greeted us shortly after — friendly and attentive. I ordered the jibarito de bistec with arroz con habichuelas and their passion fruit water. Everything was delicious. The rice was perfectly seasoned — not overly salty like I’ve experienced at other places — and the flavors were spot on. My mom ordered the pollo con papas, and of course I had to try a bite. It was just as delicious — tender, flavorful, and comforting. Café Rosa continues to be a go-to spot for consistently great food and a pleasant dining experience. I recommend!

Lechon sandwich with arroz con gandules is what I ordered through ubereats for delivery.the food was packaged well so nothing spilled it came with pique it was very flavorful and tender I really loved the arroz as well. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. It was very good I would eat from here again.

Fantastic Puerto Rican cuisine. They have best appetizers and very affordable my favorite is Pinchos skewers and empanadas. Good selection of drinks Mojitos with coconut 🌴 🥥 You need to tray traditional drink Coquito (home made)

This place should be packed. The food tastes like home. 🙌🏼🇵🇷I’m so excited to have more PR representation down in my neighborhood. Everything tastes like my abuela and mami’s cooking. Service is great and the atmosphere is so chill. The place to go for PR food on the South Side. 🔥

Great place to come for some authentic Puerto Rican food on the Southside of Chicago . I would recommend the Jibarito dinner with lechon or steak and arroz con gandules platter and Bistec Encebollado dinner (marinated thin beef steak and onions). For dessert the Tembleque coconut pudding. 😋 Buen provecho!

“It’s never a miss with this spot !!”
It’s never a miss with this spot !!! Every time on in this side of town it’s a must stop and get a good Jibarito! Well put together with a good crunch from the tostones to the juiciness of the lechón and of course a good garnish of Garlic. Don’t forget a good parcha to come along with it! I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’m sure the other dishes will be out of this world. Recommended.

Delicious Puerto Rican food. Love the proximity to Midway. Even took my friend back to get food the very same day. The cafe is very welcoming & well decorated.

Authentic food for a great value. I LOVED the jibarito con lechon. The empanada and the acapuria were okay, the star of the show was def the rice. I had to take some home for later 😋
