This was my second time ordering a cake from them and it did not disappoint! I ordered the banana split cake, not sure if thats exactly what it’s called but oh my goodness it was delicious. The strawberry and banana tasted fresh and the cake was so soft. They also did such a cute job on the flowers and the cake writing was beautifully done. Can’t wait to have a slice at our next celebration. Thank you Webers Bakery!

For years, I’ve driven by, picked up their pastries through friends and family, and savored every bite but I had never actually stepped inside. That changed recently, and let me tell you: nothing prepares you for the beautiful chaos that awaits within. From the moment you walk in, the aroma wraps around you like a warm hug, freshly baked dough, sweet vanilla glaze, powdered sugar, buttery croissants, and a hint of cinnamon all swirling together. The line was long (as expected), and yes, it felt like it moved at the pace of molasses. But there’s something about standing in that line, watching the trays come out, seeing the cases constantly restocked, and hearing the excited chatter around you, it builds anticipation in the best way possible. And once it’s your turn, pure bliss. I couldn’t choose just one item, so I didn’t. I walked out with a box full of pastries, from classic donuts, apple fritters, and melt-in-your-mouth butter cookies to delicate custard-filled éclairs and almond danishes. Each one had its own personality: flaky, rich, creamy, chewy, or decadently sweet. There’s real craftsmanship in every bite, nothing feels mass-produced or rushed. It's like tasting tradition, love, and nostalgia all at once. If you’ve never been inside Weber’s, do yourself a favor and go. Bring lots cash, bring patience, and bring a big box, because you’ll want one of everything. This isn't just a bakery; it's a Chicago institution, and every bite is a reminder of why.

First and foremost I have to be honest here, I have been getting all my kids and grandkids cakes made by no other than Weber’s. Let be also be honest when I want to treat myself and indulge in a great fresh satisfying dessert, yeppie I go get my sweet crave from no other then Weber’s. I love the service quick and efficient. The price is reasonable! The food, the bread, the pastries , the birthday cake are to die for Fran moist soft! Omg you just have to see for yourself!!!

“This is the best bakery around.”

This is the best bakery around. My family has been coming here for years. We even moved out of the area but continue to travel over an hour because the quality is unmatched. Baked goods are so delicious and extremely fresh. You have to try the atomic cake. It’s not like anything you’ve tasted before. And their cheddar onion bread Yum!!

My husband and I picked up the carrot cake ring and the cannoli cake. we ordered online a few days ahead and the order was ready on time. we received a text when it was ready. Both cakes were delicious and fresh. Best cake we've had in years and very affordable. Definitely our new go to bakery!

“Wow I can't believe I'm just finding this place now at age 51.”

Wow I can't believe I'm just finding this place now at age 51! It was my Mom's 90th birthday and the bakery I used to make her cakes closed permanently. They were amazing too and didn't think anyone could do what they did. They proved that wrong! I freaked out and asked some people for recommendations and someone suggested this bakery. They said it's worth the drive and it's an hour for me living in DeKalb. Let me tell you this bakery is legit being born raised Chicago Italian. The coffee cake is exactly how I remember as a kid and amazing! The vanilla longjohns were as good as they get! The chocolate cake with strawberry and bananas topped with real whip cream for my Mom's cake was divine perfection! They totally nailed everything. Great vibes and happy people helping you every step of the way from ordering on the phone to picking up in person. Best bakery I have ever been to and a forever fan. 😋
