4.71,386 reviews ·Opens at 6AM

Cafe Jumping Bean captures Pilsen’s creative, community-rooted spirit with colorful murals, mismatched furniture, Latin music, and a welcoming neighborhood feel—equally suited to laptop work, catching up with friends, or a nostalgic coffee date. Regulars rave about the Mexican chocolate, horchata latte, chai oat latte, tuna melt, pesto chicken sandwich, and affordable soup-and-sandwich deal; the menu is beloved, though some wish there were more drink and food options.

Cafe Jumping Bean has a personality all its own artsy, lively, and deeply rooted in community. The colorful murals, mismatched furniture, and Latin music in the background create an atmosphere that’s as energizing as it is welcoming. Whether you're posting up with your laptop or catching up with friends, there's a creative current in the air that keeps you coming back. Their drinks are just as expressive. The iced horchata latte is a standout comforting, slightly spiced, and not overly sweet. Pastries rotate regularly, but if you catch a fresh empanada or a concha, don't pass it up. More than just a coffee spot, Cafe Jumping Bean feels like the heart of the neighborhood.

A great spot to sit and work, as well as to drink coffee or eat lunch. The soup and sandwich deal is awesome.

Quad shot mocha with Mexican cacao? C’mon now, I’m with it! And you should be too. Swift service and cozy cafe vibe. Biodegradable to-go cups are a W too

What an amazing experience! I had a great brekkie for 10 dollars (mollete + chocolate mexicano). The server was lovely, the decor incredible and overall a definite stop if you are in Pilsen. Highly recommended!

Chill artsy cutesy lil cafe with Mexican flavors and vibes that match the culture. This is your new favorite coffee, but if you’re not a coffee fan then they have chai that would make an Indian so proud they might shed a tear 🥲❤️

Café Jumping Bean is my favorite coffee shop in the city. My Mom unfortunately passed away in 2015, but she would bring my siblings and I to Café Jumping Bean when we visited Pilsen. Every time I take a sip from the mocha, I am transported to nostalgic, feliz memories with my Mom. You have no idea the joy that your coffee brings to me and my family. Although my Mom has passed, I can enjoy the coffee with my partner and I like to think they my Mom is present with us with every sip. Café Jumping Bean has the nicest Baristas in town.
