“The wait was so unbelievably worth it.”
The wait was so unbelievably worth it. Waited about 20 minutes on a Saturday in the middle of the day so I expected it to be busy, first time here and definitely not the last. Chicken Quesabirria tacos so fire!!!!

I can see why this place has been open since 1978! The broth was excellent, the beef birria tender and had good flavor. The place is small and they make the best of it for both customers and there cookline. The re hot sauce tasted amazing, but I wish it wasn't so runny. If they made it a little thicker it would be even better. Their quesabirria while tasty, I wish it was crispy.

Wife wanted to head there for tacos as she saw it on a program months before. Doesnt disappoint. Fantastic tacos. I don’t know how they make it. I don’t know how many layers they have but it doesnt matter as it was awesome. We ordered 2 different 2 packs (a pack of 2 tacos) of Birria and Chicken. Comes with dipping sauce, cilantro and onions with lime wedges on the side and 2 types of salsa. A 2 pack runs $12 each. Well worth the price.

Oh my god these were delicious. Hands down, no notes. So filling, great salsa, so juicy and crispy and perfect Strawberry horchata was so-so, wouldn't have again

INSANE. RIDICULOUS. DELICIOUS. Never have I ever had fresh taco shells as crispy as these. Tacos were LARGE, FULL, and CHEESY. This tiny spot packs the flavor - so friggin good. 😋🌮🔥 I've been in Chicago for nearly a year - about a dozen taco spots have been a disappointment, this spot is not! If you're reading this, screenshot this review, open your calendar and add it as a place to checkout within a week. RUN to this location - you're welcome (in advance), then come back to my review & give it a like. Trust me.

Very nice small restaurante with delicious QuesaBirrias! They are basically quesadillas/tacos with options for protein. Perfect seasoning, the quesadillas/tacos have a crusty shell, really delicious! They come with a delicious broth too. Several sayings and thoughts around the place makes the atmosphere very cozy. Highly recommended!!

I finally got a chance to try these quesabirria tacos!! They did not not disappoint. I really didn't care too much for the beef but I will say it was seasoned to perfection. There was nothing wrong with beef birria it was a texture thing for me. Now the chicken quesabirria was bomb.com . This is a must try!! Enjoy. Update i came in yesterday and the service and food was outstanding!!! The staff was great the food was on point. The cook Gamma even swatted bees away from my food and wrapped it up for me . Totally recommend!!

“I just left this restaurant with my sister.”
I just left this restaurant with my sister. We’ve heard about this place but last minute we decided to just go and try it out. Needless to say, I’m so glad we did. The birria is sooo good and the consome is some of the most flavorful that I’ve had. The tacos are stuffed with lots of meat and cheese. We each ordered 4 tacos unaware of how big they were, but I’m definitely not complaining because now I have leftovers for tomorrow. This place isn’t super fancy. It’s a small business that embraces the Chicago atmosphere and the service is great! The woman who took our order was so polite and the food was out within 6 minutes of ordering although they were super busy. I will definitely be back soon.
