“I hadn't ate from this place in at least 4 or 5 years. First thing I noticed are the exorbitant prices for something as simple as a hot dog. A menu that's extremely similar to a Maxwell's. Average friendliness from the staff. I selected an order of chicken nachos and a beverage. The wait was approximately 10 minutes. The amount given certainly didn't match the price, however, it was good. It was plated as crunchy tortilla chips layered with nacho cheese sauce, chicken bites, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeno.”
“A must have for a real Chicago Hot dog. We always stop when we're in the area. Never disappointed.”
“I get my cheese fries from here all the time. Tried other places, no one does them better 🙌🏽!”
“Double cheeseburger is my go to. I love that they have NO pork products 😋”
“A very delicious meal my friend and I just enjoyed. Very juicy hamburger and French Fries. The meat is very fresh and seasoned perfectly. They have tremendous produce beautiful red tomatoes and crisp lettuce and onions. The polish sausage looked tremendous and smelled awesome. A simple menu with Chicago area favorites for any personal and youngling. Every order is made fresh with great detail. Nice ice-cream options for the warmer weather. You drive, take CTA train or bus here. Limited seating, on a warm day walk and eat well. A hidden gem. Attend!!!!!”
“Al's Under the L is an established restaurant that has been serving Good Quality and GREAT TASTING food years. I highly recommend this business.”
