“I'm definitely a fan of this stone oven pizzeria! I ordered 2 pizzas via toasttab for a pick up and the experience was phenomenal! Firstly, placing the order online was easy! Secondly, the actual CoalFire staff was friendly and efficient! Lastly and most important for you, reader: the pizzas were well-worth the money and the 30 minute drive from the South Side. Please look at my pictures and understand that they taste MORE delicious than they look! I did a pick up but do intend to sit down to eat them fresh some time! If you pick up and your pizzas get cold, please do them justice by reheating them in the OVEN and not nuke the beautiful stone-oven crust with a microwave. It'll be worth the wait!”

“Coalfire definitely lives up to the fame. The pizza is interesting - I had the "nudge #4" and it was a unique experience. The vibe is nice, the service is fast and polite, and the menu, while limited, is exciting. I saw people coming in and having a consistently pleasant time. I have no reason to give it anything less than 5 stars because the quality is absolutely there. However, I probably wouldn't come back again unless it was a very special occasion that required this exact vibe. The pizzas are pricey, with some reaching $27, which is a lot to sign up for willingly. Additionally, they add a 3.99% service charge by default, which feels a bit much considering tip is still expected on top of that. It is a great place, but the cost makes it a "one-and-done" or special event spot for me. Food and Drink The pizza is the star here, specifically the nudge #4, which offers a very interesting flavor profile. While the menu is limited, every option feels curated and exciting. Just be aware of the pricing - $27 for a pizza is on the higher end, and there is a mandatory 3.99% service charge added to the bill before the tip. Noteworthy Details * Service: Fast, polite, and professional. * Pricing: Expect to pay around $27 per pizza; be mindful of the default 3.99% service charge. * Vibe: Great for special occasions or when you want a specific, high-quality pizza atmosphere. * Menu: Limited selection but very creative and well-executed.”

“Excellent menu of pizza for everyone. Really enjoyed sampling a few of them and I can’t wait to try the rest.”

“If you know, you know! Great spot with even better pie & presentation. Will definitely return!!”

“Great food that you'd think would come from a fancy restaurant!! Delicious and the variety of options gives everyone something to enjoy and share... if you don't finish it first. 😆”

“Pizza is delicious! One of my favorite Ceasar salads would be from here as well! Focaccia was so fluffy and light. Staff were all friendly and kind. Definitely a neighborhood place.”

“Family owned style pizzeria. Thin crust cooked/“coalfired” in a clay oven in an open kitchen. Coalfire’s ingredients are sourced from local artisan butchers and growers, who pride themselves on providing hormone free, humanely raised meats, and organic, non-GMO fresh produce.”
