Yummy Yummy Asian Cuisine — a chinese spot in Lakeview. It wears its years well. Flavors that haven't been adjusted for mass appeal. Good for vegetarians. "Their smoothies is the absolute best in town so far" — Frisian Gail

Disappointed by the quality of the food.
Ordered from Yummy Yummy through Uber Eats.
Ordered broccoli shrimp. Was eating it and found a small stone in my food.

I live right across from the street so I decided to try their smoothie today! I got the lychee mango smoothie and it is true they use real fruits (even lychee)!! The consistency was perfect and it tastes amazing I will definitely stopping by again when craving smoothies 💛

“Western Union sponsored my fortune cookie.”
Western Union sponsored my fortune cookie. My fortune said, "Your heritage and values define your journey - embrace them as you move forward". Then on the back there was an ad for Western Union. I don't want my fortune to be sponsored, but maybe this is just the world I need to get adjusted to. Any unused space is wasted space. Instead of just having things be, we should look for how things can be used to promote a message. So that's what I've started doing. There is so much wasted space on grave tombstones. Instead of just having a person's name, birthday, deathday, and small quote...why not throw in an ad. "Allstate, you're in good hands", that could be reassuring for loved ones and could drive business for Allstate, win win. If you want a sponsorship on your tombstone, first you have to live a life worth sponsoring. No company is going to sponsor a tombstone that is getting zero views, that's just bad business. They need the best cost per view. A person that positively impacts a bunch of people throughout their lifetime is going to drive way more traffic to their tombstone than someone who isolates themselves from the world. Anyway, the advertisement in my fortune cookie threw me off, but it didn't take anything away from how amazing these Korean vegetable dumplings were.

“When I walked in the door the smell of mango and pineapple was delightful.”
When I walked in the door the smell of mango and pineapple was delightful. This restaurant is very fresh. They offer a lot of fresh fruit smoothies and boba tea. I ordered the General chicken lunch special. I paid $2.00 extra to have fried rice. It was very good . I also ordered a crab ragoon. Also very good. I wish they had a smaller order you only have one order of six. I will definitely be back they have great flavors and are very fresh. They have Coke products, and have can pop.

“Was drawn in by the vegetarian sign.”
Was drawn in by the vegetarian sign. The interior is unassuming and not typical restaurant vibe. But it quickly filled with people and the food was absolutely delicious. HUGE portions. The service was wonderful, like a family kitchen atmosphere. Multiple people recommend things to me and I was waited on by very sweet ladies.

“Had the chicken and string bean lunch special.”
Had the chicken and string bean lunch special. A lot of food along with a massive egg roll and hot and sour soup. Great value for money. Old school taste.

“Location is basic set up with some decorative pictures and meal pictures hung up.”
Location is basic set up with some decorative pictures and meal pictures hung up. Service was so inviting and friendly. We ordered orange chicken, which was perfectly cooked with a crispy crunch. The orange sauce was more of a glaze that was delightful and not overly sweet. The Spicy Lemongrass Chicken was seasoned with a right amount of peppery , lemony notes and sliced green peppers/onions, served over white rice that was fluffy and tasty. The crab rangoon were fried and crispy full of flavor, and the egg rolls were generously filled and paired great with the sweet and sour sauce. Entire meal was deliciously fabulous and filling, the staff friendly and engaging, and service fast and accommodating. Looking forward to another visit.

“How have I gone so long without trying this place before? I got their lychee mango smoothie and it was delicious.”
How have I gone so long without trying this place before? I got their lychee mango smoothie and it was delicious. You can tell the fruit is fresh. Their sesame noodles, egg roll, and general Tao tofu were amazing. The service was excellent. I will absolutely come back here and recommend it to others.

“LOVE this place!”
LOVE this place!! Smoothies always fresh most dishes are simple with a lot of flavor! Crab Rangoons are my ultimate favorite the biggest & best ones I’ve ever had. In the photo I got lo mein with tofu & chicken vegetables. Sometimes they are super busy and you might have to wait extra for your food but definitely worth it!! Tastes much better then it looks lol!

“This is 5 stars just because of the egg drog soup.”
This is 5 stars just because of the egg drog soup. I woke up from a 3 hour depression nap and walked a few blocks over to pick up soup. And honestly, it's delicious and tasty and could fix a broken heart. I ordered the crab rangoons as an impulse, and I think they were maybe a little over done or a bit old, but they're still tasty. The thai tea is a solid 7/10, but I think one of the other flavors might be better. This place was very busy when I was there as well, and the ladies taking the orders are super kind. Very happy place!! Good for introverts too!
