“It’s worth $10-$14 for the lunch special Tuesday to Sunday 11:30am-3pm.”

“Che Thai is a fantastic local spot and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The Pad See Ew is hands down the best I’ve had in Chicago — perfectly tender noodles, well-cooked chicken, and incredible flavor. Just so good. The garlic noodles are also a standout. The lo mein noodles are thicker than expected, which actually makes the dish even more comforting and satisfying. We’ll definitely be regulars here. Pro tip: order on Toast — they prefer it.”

“Scrumptious food, crispy pad thai and thai tea. Dined it but inside it is a bit chilly on a cold night so wear a sweater. They have a little library for nerds.”

“Food was honestly great, hot temperature and very flavourful! Price was very good too!”

“Great Restaurant! The food is amazing, very traditional Thai. 🇹🇭 The fried rice is fantastic, and the portion is generous. 🍚 The yellow curry is to die for; I highly recommend adding chicken – it's "bomb"! 🍛🐔💥”

“This is a cute little spot. I was in the area and hungry so I figured I'll try it out. I'm lactose free so Thai food is usually a safe place for me. Most customers order pick-up and so I was able to get some work done while I waited for my meal. I ordered the Panang Curry and it was delicious! Flavorful and with a hint of spice. The food is served in what I assume are dishes from Thailand. If I'm in the area again, I will stop by again.”

“Got the tofu drunken noodles and tom kha soup- good portions for the affordable price.”

“The first time I had the food here, it was amazing. I’ve been to Che Thai about 10 times in the past five months—great service every time! Some of my favorites are the Tom Yum soup, Basil Fried Rice, and Tom Yum Rice. The wings are good too! There are a few women who work here, but there’s one in particular who is so nice. I absolutely love when she prepares my food—it’s always consistently good 😊. On the flip side, the younger cooks don’t seem as passionate when it comes to preparing the food. It doesn’t quite taste the same when they’re working. Maybe they’re just getting started or aren’t fully invested yet—I’m not sure. Overall, I’d give this place an 8/10. Thank you! Once I get her name, I’ll come back and update this review.”
