MingHin Cuisine — solid, no-fuss chinese in Chinatown. Buzzy, energetic room where the crowd adds to it. You can taste the generations behind this. Moises Treviño Garcia: "It was incredible tender, juicy and really well seasoned"

The restaurant has implemented tablets for ordering, but customer service was lacking during my visit.
I ordered the shrimp egg foo young.

“I had a great experience with the management here.”
I had a great experience with the management here. An issue came up during my visit, and Phil handled it professionally and with genuine care. He followed through, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was resolved fairly. That level of accountability really stood out and says a lot about how this place treats its customers. I appreciate how the situation was handled and would return

“MingHin could be the best Cantonese restaurant at China town.”
MingHin could be the best Cantonese restaurant at China town. It opened early in the morning. The room was beautiful with many Chinese decorations. Service was great and WiFi was fast. Their Cantonese breakfast tasted authentic and delicious. The temperature of the buns and dumplings could be higher, as it was cold outside. The fried rice noodle was wonderful without too much oil, and the beef was tender and juicy. The size of breakfast items was great with a reasonable price.

The atmosphere feels authentic and warm, and the menu is packed with so many classic Chinese dishes that it’s hard to choose just one. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. My absolute favorite is the fried rice noodles with XO sauce. It’s perfect every time. The noodles are soft but slightly crispy, and the XO sauce adds this deep, savory kick that makes the whole dish unforgettable.

“Been coming to MingHin for the beef and noodles.”
Been coming to MingHin for the beef and noodles. Honestly, that’s what keeps pulling me back. We started with the beef on a stick. It was incredible tender, juicy and really well seasoned. Like… dangerously good. Only four pieces, so it was gone in no time but it was really good. For the main, we got the stir-fried chow mein noodles. This one’s a favorite of mine. The noodles had that perfect mix of crispy and soft, especially around the edges. Not greasy, not dry. Just right. The sauce clung to everything, and the smoky flavor really came through. The meat stayed tender, the seasoning was on point, and every bite had something going on. I kept picking at it even when I was full and the bowl was empty. Always a good sign. The place itself feels cozy but still lively. Good for a date or with family. Staff was friendly and checked in without hovering. Just a solid, comforting meal. I’ll be back. Probably soon.

“BEST FOOD WE HAD IN CHICAGO.”
BEST FOOD WE HAD IN CHICAGO. We came here twice while we were traveling Chicago 😂😂😂 The dimsun were so delicious. My favorite was the shumai. It was so juicy and chewy. The best one I had so far. The other one I really like was the shrimp dumplings with green chives. The texture of the dumpling skin is like soft jello so if you are not into that. I don't recommend 😅 But it was so good!! My husband loved the soup dumplings there. The service is fast and efficient. You order on a tablet and the food comes out quick. The interior is bery fancy and it's nice to go with anyone. I would love to come back.

“Wanted to enjoy a dinner before heading back home.”
Wanted to enjoy a dinner before heading back home. Staff was great and friendly. Made sure I had everything I needed. Had to get my go to Siu Mai! I asked about gluten free options for a future visit with my wife. He said they can do some GF dishes but some the could not, mainly dim sum is not gluten free

“Fabulous trip to Ming Hin while in town for work.”
Fabulous trip to Ming Hin while in town for work. Wild mushroom dumplings, bbq duck, pork steam buns, pot stickers, etc. all great and egg rolls maybe the best I’ve ever had. Also…. My husband forgot his hat and they hunted it down for us the next day. We’ll most definitely be back!

Go for dim sum! One of (maybe even the best) dim sum I've had in the states. Pictured: cucumber salad (normal menu), scallion pancakes, and baked pork buns. All delicious. Forgot to take more pics

“We are everywhere in Chicago and this was our favorite meal.”
We are everywhere in Chicago and this was our favorite meal. So good we came back for lunch the next day. Dinner: we ordered the crispy pork belly, salt n pepper shrimp, and lobster with a ginger sauce and noodles. All amazing, well seasoned items. Crispy pork belly had great texture and was served with a sweet hoisin like sauce. The salt n pepper shrimp had a great light batter with garlic and jalapeños, and the star was the lobster. The savory and sweet ginger sauce with a great chew wavy noodle. Would come back for the lobster and noodle dish alone. Lunch the next day: rice noodle stir fry with beef and roasted crab. The crab came with sautéed ground pork and plenty of garlic and green onions. The rice noodle dish was great and well balanced, no clumps in the noodles. Optioned for the tea service this meal, great way to give comfort before, during, and after. If we make it back to Chicago, we’re coming here first.
