Joy Yee's reputation is well deserved. It has an assortment of healthy fruit drinks, both frozen and liquid, with the ability to add Boba on top. Their entrees feature Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean dishes and are all top notch. Service is prompt and speedy so I suggest waiting to order you main dishes if you order appetizers. It's a place I return to every time I visit Chi-Town.

Huge menu with wide selections of most Asian cuisines. Very tasty and the portions are BIG. Servers are very helpful for offering Togo service.

We rolled up to the back of the square in China Town and stumbled upon a long line of people. We just had to check it out. My husband got a raspberry, strawberry banana drink. Full sugar. And I got the watermelon with zero sugar. Thankful they had the option for a diabetic like me to cut back on the sugar but still enjoy the drink. They had another option for 1/2 sugar as well.

We have dined at Joy Yee over the years, at both this location and the one in Evanston. Even though these dining rooms can be crowded and noisy at times, one factor remains constant: the food is well-prepared and prices are reasonable. This visit was no exception, though the noise level was considerably lower because we ate here on a Thursday afternoon. In fact, we took advantage of the "combination lunch special" which included a bowl of hot sour soup and a couple of fried dumplings (gyoza). My partner chose the beef fried rice, and I ordered the "lemon grass grill chicken garlic noodles." Both dishes were flavorful and made to order. The noodles had a strong garlic flavor, and the chicken was tender and tasty. The beef was also tender and the rice well seasoned. The most popular elements on the Joy Yee menu are the fresh fruit beverages (see menu below). A person could probably just drink their lunch rather than ordering meat and rice or noodle dishes. Our server was attentive and prompt. The noise level, as already mentioned, was pleasantly low. The napkins were large but thin, and I requested a few more because I'm an "enthusiastic" diner sometimes. Atmosphere is bland and non-descript, although the Manga characters on the menu are fun and colorful. We look forward to more happy meals here and in Evanston.

Stop in for a lunch break on a Saturday during c2e2 so we were not suprised to be dining across from Darth Vader and The Flash! The staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly despite the restaurant being packed with comic con attendees!! Started with some egg rolls which I was not too crazy about but the main event definitely delivered!! Me and two friends split some kung pao shrimp , honey walnut shrimp and kung pao beef every dish was five stars!!

This restaurant has both upstairs and downstairs seating. Downstairs is more refined and decorated while upstairs is more relaxed and definitely family friendly. If you dine upstairs but enter from downstairs, you will have to walk up stairs in a backroom - which is fine, I'm just saying. The portions are huge and the food is delicious! Unless you're very hungry, you're gonna take home leftovers.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. It came out fast. A lot of food for the money. One meal is vegetarian and the other is curry chicken.
