“Very traditional Cantonese cuisine Authentic flavors! You can find quality ingredient and expert preparation in every bite. Clay pot is crispy and toppings are top quality! Hand made traditional Chinese desserts are good!!! Try it out”

“Their eggplants and the Coconut Chicken Soup are must try! This place does several Chinese regional cuisines but somehow manage to do a great job in every one. Will come back🤗”

“I ordered clay pot rice online for a few times and dined in in person for the first time this week. The food is good and authentic, especially the eggplant and coconut chicken soup soooo good. Staff is friendly too. Nowadays it’s not that easy to find a newly open, small restaurant that actually has good food. One area of improvement is the table size. The table for two is too small and just two dishes would take up the whole area making it crowded and messy for us.”

“Decided to try Happy Rice and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made regarding food. 10/10! Everything we had tasted so rich and flavorful. The Shredded potato, Beef pepper soup, spicy chicken and fried cabbage (I was so excited about the food I forgot to take a picture of the cabbage haha). The host/server was so nice and even explained “Shuang pi Nai”(the desert) to us. And that desert did NOT disappoint! Definitely gonna be a regular :)”

“This place is like stepping into china. The food was so good. The price was normal.”

“Best Chinese Food In Chicago!! That’s how Chinese food taste in CN!!!!!芝加哥最好吃的中餐店,口味和国内一样!辣的过瘾!香的美味!”
