25th Dec, Chinese lunch became a tradition. We wanted to get out and get some fresh air, decided to go for Chinese in memory of my wife's late mom. She liked this place and she used to go with the family to this restaurant. Memories came back for my wife and we enjoyed a quiet lunch. First we had to wait a bit (somehow the staff was very busy with delivery activities and forgot us), but once a nice waiter noticed that we were back on track. We started with Green Tea, Vegetable Spring Rolls, moved on to Chicken Sweet-Sour and Chicken Lo Mein. The portions are huge, we could easily have done one entree and still take food home. Now we have a LOT of chinese food at home. The interior design and atmosphere is a bit dated, but isn't that what we came for, the memories and the good food?! We like it. I still give it overall a 5-star, liked out the waiter, he really made an effort.

China Chef was a recommendation from a local Asian grocer, definitely worth the try! Dishes were prepared piping hot and tasteful! Service was great with the manager and waiter both very accommodating. We order combo fried rice, pork with pan fried noodles, black pepper beef with flat noodles, Singaporean curry noodles. There's a parking lot.

Always love their salt and pepper smelts. Too bad they don't have the lobster when we went, there were only us who ate there that Sunday lunch time. But you can hear the pick up orders.

“we went to china chef today for a mother’s day dinner and had a great time.”

we went to china chef today for a mother’s day dinner and had a great time. we were sat immediately and provided water and oolong tea. we ordered the family meal for 3. the short ribs were tender and sweet. the egg rolls were great, according to my father. i found them to be a bit greasy. the fried rice was my favorite dish we received. i mostly ate that. we also had a shrimp dish which was extremely salty and took my mother and my appetite away. overall okay experience.
