We were very lucky to have found METRIC when visiting the Logan Square/ Avondale neighborhood of Chicago! I ordered a vanilla latte and would have to say it was extremely well made, flavorful, and plentiful. The cinnamon bun also was delicious. The overall pricing was in-line with other coffee establishments. The venue has a great vibe with ample seating, a variety of decor, and the ability to see the "work areas" where the coffee appears to be processed/ground. There was a mix of moms with kids and people using this coffee spot to check their email, etc. I am so glad to have found METRIC and am looking forward to revisiting during return trips to Chicago.

Stopped there yesterday randomly after a local competitor closed at noon. The barista was very pleasant and happy to take my simple large mocha order. it was made perfect and tasted delicious. i sat outside and enjoyed my cup while also enjoying the free smells of them roasting coffee. A great Fathers Day stop for the Donut Dinosaur and Coffee Crocodile! While there aren’t any donuts, the coffee is really top notch and the almond croissant made up for the lack of donuts. Great outdoor space to eat with ample bike parking and easy walk up - will be back!

Hands down one of the best coffee roasters in the city. We made the pilgrimage to finally check it out and ended up buying way too much coffee but so worth it. Looking forward to coming back in the summer so we can take advantage of their patio outside as there is no seating inside.
